Melrose Upright Wheeled Underseater Luggage, Red, Carry-On 16-Inch

I was very surprised to see that this was as light as it was and very well made. It has many compartments and fit in the overhead in the plane.

This bag is wonderful for packing. It fits a surprising amount of items. But... I took a trip which included switching planes. It fit nicely under the seat on the first leg of my trip, but not on the second flight. I was so surprised. I thought all of the seats would be the same size. It didn’t even come close to fitting. Both times, I was in the window seat. Overall I like the bag, but worried about it fitting under other seats of planes. Both flights were on United.

This little bag is perfect to take on the plane and pack extra clothes, shoes and extras you might need if your checked bag is late or lost. Its light enough to fill and still be able to put in the overhead bin. I was able to attach a tote bag on top of this bag and roll it all around Newark airport from almost one end to the other. It really saved my shoulders. The zippers work well, the handle extended properly, and the wheels are smooth. I took this on three ferries island hopping in Greece and it held up perfectly. You wont regret getting this bag.

When this wheeled luggage arrived I started a return because it looked pink and not red. But when I went outside to put it into the car to return it, magically (?) it turned red. It is all about the light. So I cancelled the return and I am keeping it because after spending several hours searching on the internet, I cannot find another piece of small wheeled luggage with all the features of this one. I am looking forward to having many hours using it.

So lightweight and easy to maneuver. Amazingly, six days’ worth of clothes and toiletries fit into this little piece of luggage and it still slid under the airplane seat!

The first underseat carry on I had was larger than this, but didnt hold as much. This is perfect, plus it slips over a large wheeled bag for easy transport if it isnt your only bag. With this and a small suitcase that fits in the overhead, I never have to check a bag.

I love this bag. I travel a few times a year to see family and friends and you cant beat the price of the budget airlines. However, they will nickle and dime for your bags. This bag is perfect for traveling and under the seat storage. The main compartment has lots of space. I am able to take 4 days of clothing, toiletries, small makeup kit and a pair of shoes. It has a lot of small pockets inside, and two mesh ones on the outside but I find that I wouldnt over stuff this bag for fear of the depth limit of 8 inches, I do leave room for demonstration that this is able to fit as the personal item bag. I have been asked at the gate to verify it fits but nothing beats the satisfaction of showing the attendant they cant upcharge me. This bag has worked for both spirit and frontier for me. I am buying one for my partner as he travels for work, and you cant beat being able to walk right on and off a flight with your bag, ready to roll!
