> 3 dayNice looking lights, yellowish tone is nice for lighting kids bedroom. Good value for money. Lots of different light sequences included. Only downside is they don’t work with a timer.

gee gayle!
> 3 dayAll string lights I have bought before were super small these are a nice size with some glitter in the clear plastic. That along with the multi-functions really make these sparkle! There are lots of modes; blinking, solid, chasing, and one mode where they work thru all the modes. I know I didnt remember all of the modes, nor the exact size, but I love these!

19-11-2024I had high hopes for these guys, because I like to keep twinkle lights up on my desk year round. I work from home and the lights make my workspace more fun. Unfortunately, after taking the time to set them up, they looked nice on the solid setting, but were weird on the others, and two days later they didnt work at all. Total bummer.

> 3 dayThey look really pretty! The control box came under par. The only way to turn the lights off is to literally unplug them. The control box is only to change the way they blink and does not control if they are on or off. Thats the only thing that bothers me most cuz then I have to physically keep unplugging it as opposed to turning it off like a lamp.

> 3 dayThere are several issues with this family of lights. 1. They do not appear to be UL-Certified (there is no tag on the light set as required). They _are_ marked with the CE symbol on the control module (remote?) BUT that only counts in the European Union not elsewhere. 2. The wire gauge is too light for the North American market (and elsewhere). Sadly, we are a little rougher with stuff cause that just the way our culture is. Im not saying they need to 10 AWG but I would have gone with 20 AWG. Some reviewers mentioned getting shocked which would not surprise me at all. 3. The control module (aka, remote) does not remember the setting if one unplugs the light set and then plugs it back in later. Kinda basic function these days and all in the control software so no additional cost to fix. Surprising oversight. 4. The AC plug design is just plain wrong. The blades are only 0.040 inches thick. The spec is 0.060 inches thick; which is why many reviewers complained about plugs loose or falling out / intermittent connections / loose connections in general. For D-I-Yers who are more cogent in these matters, the blades on the plug can be tweaked a little (and JUST a LITTLE) using two pair of pliers. grab half the blade with one plier and the other half with the other plier and bend the blade just a tiny bit along the blades longitudinal axis (see photo). Remember, you are only trying to add between 1/64 inch and 1/32 inch of thickness to the blade. Too much added thickness and you can break the socket. DISCLAIMER: NEITHER AMAZON NOR I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR WHATEVER YOU DO OR ANY RESULTS THEREOF. All that said, my wife likes them. And that gets them 3 stars.
