> 3 dayI own 2 of these. One is the feed point for a 4 band fan dipole. The other feeds a an end fed Zepp style wire antenna like this: https://images.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fve3clq.files.wordpress.com%2F2011%2F01%2Fw3edpverticalmodel2.jpg&f=1 I could not build a current balun for much less money than these cost shipped.

> 3 dayMatching 450 ohm ladder line into a short length of coax for use with an auto tuner. Works great with a 160 meter dipole. Should have done this years ago.

> 3 dayWhen the balun arrived, it rattled inside. Disassembly showed that 2 nuts and a washer were floating loose inside. Actually trying to use this balun could have been disastrous. I will repair it just because as an electronic tech, thats what I do, and I enjoy the challenge. Basically, for most folks... buyer beware!
