MG Chemicals 63/37 Rosin Core Leaded Solder, 0.032 Diameter, 0.6 oz Pocket Pack

After years of using the highly rated Chinese cheap stuff on Amazon I got frustrated attempting to solder binding post/banana jacks to the pads on HP DPS power supplies. The end result was dull, crunchy and just looked terrible. Watched a video on YouTube by “learnelectronics” and he’s a diehard MG Chem fan…for good reason. I bought 2 packs so 4 tubes and I have 1 left after two months. I resoldered all the important stuff on my bench and felt so much satisfaction seeing the beautiful solder joints that flowed like a silver puddle of precious metal. Pictured is the first thing I soldered. I tinned the end of a 14AWG wire just to see if this was all its cracked up to be. Its so shiny I had trouble getting my camera to take a picture that allows you to see the wire because the solder is so perfectly round and reflective that my phones camera struggles to properly focus. I really can’t say enough about this stuff. It is absolutely worth every penny even when it’s not on sale. The 100g rolls of $8 China Special solder are garbage. Do you want to get bullied on the internet for your solder joints? No? Well the first step isn’t learning how to solder, its using God’s gift to electronic hobbyists, MG Chemicals. This stuff makes you WANT to spend all day with your iron.

Great quality solder. I can definitely tell the difference between this and the cheap stuff. Price difference isnt much. Ill never go cheap solder again. Get a good flux pen too. Makes soldering life sooooooo much easier.

Better go ahead and grab your solder from the interwebs. This particular one was impossible to find in every brick and mortar that I went into. Arrived in 3 days. Will order all of my solder online from now on. Item is exactly as described and pictured

The package contained only one solder container. Returning it and waiting for replacement is not worth the loss.

Used cheap solder once and was a night more, this makes soldering much easier and more fun!

Works great for soldering LED tape lights to wire leads.

This solder helped me to complete my soldering projects in a snap. It flows at relative low temperature, gauge is convenient for precision soldering.

THis product works good.. It is for small jobs but I have used it on some stuff that required alot.. It melts fast of course as it is so small a gauge.. I will buy more.. Clean results

It is very difficult to buy such a small quantity of 63/37. Every store Ive been in has a large roll/coil which is expensive. The soldering I do, this will last me 2 years. Great company too. They have a lot of other cool stuff.
