> 3 dayColor is true. Size is like picture somewhat but disappointed by quantity as when weighed it’s short a 1/2 pound from what I received. Best to order more to get what you want.

Greater than one weekThe black polish comes off reeeeeeally easy. Like, so easy that one long rain, and now my stones are gray and dull, with flecks of black everywhere that makes the stones just look dirty and gross, and is a pain to try to rinse away. These are probably only suitable for indoor dry fairy gardens or like a vivarium where you can use them as long as they only get a little mist of water. No suitable to be used with any animals, in any terrarium or aquarium.

> 3 dayBeen doing bonsai for years now. I’ve found how important it is to have a humidity tray under Mediterranean plants. You MUST use pebbles to raise the base of the plant higher than sitting water. Chose these black rocks. They’re the perfect size and color. Smooth edges work well with my pot as the jagged edges cause a less stable pot.

> 3 dayI am using the pebbles in a humidity tray for an orchid. I had read that the dark pebbles attract more light for the orchid. The pebbles are exactly as described, and look attractive around the orchid.

> 3 dayExactly what I was looking for. I’m posting this review bc I had difficulty figuring out how many lbs of rocks I needed. This is the 5 lb bag, perfect to fully cover an 11 inch saucer for my make shift humidity tray for my fiddle leaf fig. I know the ruler next to the sagging bag of stones is a ridiculous pic but I would have liked to have seen a pic like this before purchasing, hopefully it helps someone make the right decision too.

Greater than one weekA little bigger than i imagined at 3/8th inch. I wanted to use these in 2.5 small succulent pots and I guess its my fault I shouldve went for a finer grain but they are as advertised. I will say the bag they come in is good for transit but not the very best for pouring or storage since its not resealable and slouches over.
