> 24 hourCleaning the floors is so effortlessly done with this! Since its so long it doesnt suck everything for the sides of the brush however it picks up everything in the way with the brush. After every use I remove all the cat hair and let the suction take it in, so it works well. Its easy to maneuver around the floors. Definitely great for quick clean ups!

> 24 hourYou are really going to want this if you’re using your vac on hardwood floors. The standard head the vac comes with is hard to used, suction sticks to the floors. This thing glides around effortlessly, and it’s really wide, so doing a large area takes no time at all. It’s rather expensive for what it is- a molded piece of plastic, but it makes all the difference in the world on hardwood floors or tile. Get it!

> 24 hourI am an avid vacuumer. With four cats tracking litter around non-stop, I have to vacuum almost every day. I have been using the basic head attachment that came with my Miele C1 canister vacuum that was suitable for both carpets and hardwood floors. Little did I know how much time and precious energy I was wasting pushing around that clunky, squeaky vacuum head when I could be operating something as light as a Swiffer. I am truly amazed by how much time and energy this hardwood-floor-specific vacuum head will save me. It’s a simple design that works. I find that the XL is so nimble that I can reach into any crevice I could with the regular sized standard head, and for spots I can’t reach I just slip it off and use the hose itself. Plus the size is big enough that I can cover so much more surface area in half the time. Honestly I am not kidding! Using my Miele with this vacuum head is even easier, faster, and less labor intensive than a Swiffer! And, it of course provides a much better clean. The design of the vacuum head is perfect for those with cats and the constant battle of cat litter. The spaces in between the bristles are big enough for litter to enter with either a forward push of the vacuum, or a pull back. This was never the case with my previous vacuum head. I was constantly having to tap the vacuum head around the litter to make sure they were actually going up and not just getting moved around. TLDR; I am floored!!! This is going to be a game-changer to my daily vacuum routine and save me so much time and so many precious calories that can be spent doing something else. Best purchase in a long time — can’t believe it took me so long.

> 24 hourAfter spending what seemed like an interminable number of hours trying to decipher which Miele canister set-up would work best for my mostly bare wood floors, I finally decided to just go for it. I went cheap - the S2 Olympus. Along with that, I ordered the SBB400-3 XL Parquet Twister Floor Tool. It is a fantastic combination! Astonishingly so, which says a lot about something as mundane as the routine chore of vacuuming. First of all (and if youre reading this, then you probably already know), every Miele canister is essentially the same, in terms of power and size. Youre just paying more or less money for different attachments. So, logically, I figured, the cheapest canister and the best wood floor attachment should equal the best, most expensive vacuum Miele has to offer for my needs. Maybe Im wrong about that, but now Ill never feel the need to find out. The Twister is the most effective vacuum tool Ive ever used, on bare floors or otherwise. It does an amazing job; its much faster and far more thorough than my old, but half-decent, Hoover canister. I was nervous, when I took the Twister out of the box, that it would be too big, too unwieldy for my little house and all the things in it. But this thing is remarkable. Because it can swivel on several different axes effortlessly, it reaches around legs, under the couch and in corners as well as anything half its size. Its made my vacuuming so much faster, and, honestly, far cleaner than before. Living in a beachy area with a long haired Aussie shepherd can test my patience; no matter how scrupulously I vacuumed with the old Hoover, sand always seemed to manage to reappear five minutes later, even with a clean dog. This new set-up really gets the grit up, and fast. The Olympus comes with a good-enough rug attachment, which I use on my one small area rug. But the Twister has made a very good vacuum cleaner a truly great one. I couldnt be more pleased with my purchase, and highly recommend the XL Parquet Twister.

> 24 hourI purchased this fairly expensive product because I wanted to use it in combination with our Miele upright vacuum. Its an amazing vacuum, and nothing Ive ever used does better on carpet. I bought this so that we could use it on our newly placed wood floors. We have a couple dogs in the house, and one of them is a golden retriever. Light, long hair on darker wood floors is not what you want to deal with, and I have to vacuum the floors every few days. Before buying this, I used to just pull the hose off the vacuum and suck up the hair from the floor without any end on it, which worked fine, it just took a long time because I had to cover every inch of the floor. I was hoping this XL tool would help me save time. It doesnt work the way Id hoped it would. It has fibers around the edge of the bottom which of course protects the floor, but the problem is that it just gathers all the strands of hair and other particles on the hair, without sucking everything up. And because the bristles get clogged with hair and dust, etc, it no longer sucks everything up on the wings, defeating the wide area of use I was hoping it would cover--and the reason I got it. So it doesnt take more than a few pushes of the tool before I have to clean the bristles out again, of course, making it entirely pointless. Its also kind of difficult to use with my upright, because even though I can extend the hose/tube, its rather low for me (Im 61) and my wife whos 55 also said its not perfect. Anyhow, I only recommend this for people using it with the canister vacuum, definitely not with the upright--there wouldnt really be any great use for it. And even with the canister vacuum, you might want to go with the non-XL version. And you certainly shouldnt ever hope you would use it for a bunch of dog hair. If youre just sucking up dust, you should be fine. Ive found that just using the end of the vacuum hose (without anything attached) works better, although slow, or I just use one of those swiffer-type tools, although I hate now nasty those get with all the hair it collects. Obviously my purposes are a little unique, but wanted to write this review in case others had pets with long hair that they need to deal with.

> 24 hourExcellent brush for large hardwood or tile area. Makes cleaning enjoyable. Miele never disappoints! Mine is 22yesrs old... still looks like new, and works like brand new straight from the manufacturer. Never had any issues, never lost suction.

> 24 hourI have now purchased two of these. I think they are a must have if you vacuum allot of wood floors. Great suction power and coverage. you do have to clean off hair and large Debris from the head every now and then. Some reviews note this is a problem but I don’t feel like it was a very big deal. My biggest issue with this device is it’s lack of durability. all of my devices have lasted about 2 years. The neck wears with use and eventually disconnects from the body. But it works so good I don’t think I can go without it. So on to the third purchase.

> 24 hourI like the large size—it requires fewer sweeps to cover hardwood. However, maybe because of the large size, the suction isn’t very powerful. Takes a few sweeps back & forth sometimes to pick up bits off the floor. It seems to do a good job just with dust, though.

> 24 hourMuch easier than the piece that comes with the vacuum cleaner
