I purchased these to replace some old magnetic hooks that I have had for more than 20 years that my cats manage to knock off my fridge and I can no longer find. The description indicated that these were very powerful and could hold x pounds and they were not kidding. I placed one on my fridge and I cannot get it off -- good luck knocking it off naughty kitties! They do scratch the finish on the fridge, I have an older white fridge, but if you place them where you need it that should not be an issue.

Not to shabby

These dont hold anywhere NEAR what it says theyre rated for. I got them for my grill tools and they slide right off. Not even a pound of weight. Vertically they will hold up to about 4 lbs, but thats it. NOT as advertised. Dont waste your money.

I used these hooks to hang my sons artwork in frames (rather heavy) on my finling cabinet and metal desk. They are very strong and versatile as advertised. Plan on ordering more.
