Milwaukee 48-39-0529 Compact Band Saw Blade 35-3/8-Inch 18TPI, 3 Pack

I’ve had these blades for 5 months but just wore out my last one I was replacing. So I just tried to use the first one. These things are close but just a little to large. They do not tighten up enough with the tensioner locked in position. Every other blade I have ever used tightened up. These slip and or fall off as soon as the trigger is pulled. This is very disappointing and annoying.

The saw blades dont come in the actual product box. If that makes a difference to you, dont buy them. But they are the same thing you would get at Lowes or Home Depot, just without the manufacturers box.

Thank God this was available and shipped fasssst! It is shorter than the most common porta-bands. If you get one, know that no body will have the blades so stock up!

These blades dull very quickly. I just used them on 1/8 mild steel and they only lasted for about 4-5 cuts. I have been using portabands for 40 years and these are the worse blades I ever used.

Echoing other reviewers, I saw a number of negative reviews but decided to buy anyway since they were Milwaukee blades. I have a new fuel compact saw and each blade in this pack of 3 was too loose to function. They all worked their way off of the saw - a few times off the wheels and once the blade popped off of the rollers. With a Milwaukee blade that I got from a supply house, there were no issues. The blade fit well, ran well, and cut well. I see reviews that say these didnt cut well. I never got that far because the blades would not stay on my saw. The first two photos are of a normally working band saw blade and then the last two are these blades which dont fit well enough to stay on the saw. Note the bowing in contrast to the taut working blade.
