Currently, there is a serious bug for anyone wanting to play split screen with others. Been pretty random last year for our family, so we began paying for realms. As of last update, even for realms, we now cant get our original character. You run the risk of losing inventory. Grandsons Still Love It, 2 months after I gave it to em! And STILL Do, after 10 months!

My 7 year old son is hooked on Minecraft, like many kids are. We play together maybe 4 hours a week, it is a great bonding experience. Although I play to bond with him, I thoroughly enjoy the experience. I could play by myself and still enjoy it, to be completely honest. The game is very simple but the open world, sandbox experience means there is many things you can do. Creative mode gives you the option to literally do whatever you want from a building perspective. Survival mode adds a bit of realism and challenge to it, you have to harvest resources, survive through the night mobs, etc, etc...

Definitely get what you pay for
