Greater than one weekI bought the CIBEST projector for multiple purposes. My primary reason is to use it as a computer monitor so that it is less stressful to the eyes, compared to a regular bright monitor at 25 inches away. This projector serves my primary purpose very well. Initially I was worried about the brightness because I need it to work in a brightly lit room sometimes even with diffused sunlight. In general, I found the projector to be very bright. I did not measure the actual brightness. However, comparing to a previous projector I tried (made by sharp) with 1100 lumens, this projector is brighter. The projector has several brightness settings three of them are predefined and one that can be set by a user. The highest predefined setting is called vivid I use it during the day. I set that user defined settings at a lower brightness that is suitable for nighttime reading. Obviously, the projector wont work well if the sunlight is directly on the screen. But it is reasonably good as a monitor in a room diffusely lit by sunlight. During the day I run my computer in a contrast reversed mode and this helps me to use the projector even in a room with diffused sunlight. In general, under typical office light settings this projector is very good. If projecting 72 inch or larger the focus needs to be carefully adjusted to remove blur on the sides. All the computer text is very crisp even to the edges. I have tried the projection sizes from 72 to 105 inches diagonal and the computer test is very crisp. At 72 inches I can use this as a monitor with diffused sunlight. But at 105 inches ambient sunlight makes it hard. (Perhaps a screen may help but I have not tried one) I have tried connecting the computer directly through HDMI on the projector and wirelessly by using Miracast with the help of a Roku connected to HDMI. Both approaches work well. My other reason for the projector is to use it as a home theater. For projecting a movie on the wall, a sunlight lit room is not desirable because the colors look washed out and the movie feels low contrast. However, under indoor nighttime lighting conditions (when the window sunlight is blocked) movies look really good. Resolution on this monitor is extremely good. I am comparing my experience with an earlier 720P projector. The native 1080P resolution on this projector produces truly stunning pictures. Visually the colors also look very good. I have a Roku attached to this projector which I use to stream movies. The projector also has a native speaker which is reasonably good. The fan in the projector has a noise which it is not very loud, and I get used to it after a few minutes of use. However, I wish the noise was even lower. One issue I found with the Roku (that is already ON and connected to HDMI) is that when the projector is turned on it does not synchronize with the Roku properly. As a result, I notice flicker on the screen. However, I if I switch the source from HDMI1 to HDMI2 and back, then the flicker goes away and both the devices synchronize. I am not sure if this is an issue specific to my unit or if is present in this projector model in general. Ill be reaching out to CIBEST to see if they can fix this issue. Overall, I am very happy with the 1080p projector as a monitor and as a home theater, especially considering the low price tag. This is a good tool to reduce eye strain (primarily if eyes are stressed from staying focused at a short distance). UPDATE: Cibest sent me a firmware update and this fixed the flicker issue. This fix seems temporary. Whenever there is a flicker, I change the channels (HD2 to HD1 and back) and everything work well. ============================================================ May 2020 Update: I bought a second cibest projector for use excursively as a monitor for a desktop. I like these projectors because they are less painful on my eyes compared to any LCD or LED monitors I have used over the past 15 years. This setup helps me work longer with less eye fatigue. I use it in a room with a wall at approximately 10 ft distance and the image is 85 inches diagonal. My setup works great and I like it. I use it in a room with windows open and diffuse light (no direct sunlight) entering the room. The only downside is the noise from the fan in my second setup, mainly because I am less than 2 ft from the projector. I was sitting a bit away from the projector (> 5ft) in my first setup and the noise was not as noticeable. While I am used to it now, the moment the projector is turned off, I notice how loud it actually is. I wish this was a lot quieter. At some point in the future, I plan to replace the fan to reduce noise. For most users trying to watch movies, fan noise may be less of an issue. All in all this is a great buy for the price, if you want to use it as a computer monitor. If someone finds a solution for the fan noise let me know.

> 3 dayBought to use as a TV. Works pretty good. The keystone make either the top or the bottom of the picture blurry. The general focus is difficult to get just right. I project to a very light tan wall - not a white screen and my images look nice, not washed out at all. Even white looks good. My corner to corner image size is just under 8ft (about 93). The device gets quite hot. The picture does looks weaker in regular daylight but is definitely still visible. There is a speaker but it is weak, so I connect audio out to my stereo. The company put a note inside the box asking you to contact them before posting a review if you had any issues. I emailed them and never received a reply. EDIT - the reply went to my spam.

> 3 dayThis purchase is surprisingly worth every penny of my hard earned money. I use it on a weekly basis and the quality never ceases to amaze me because it is that crystal clear, much better than anticipated. I strongly recommend.

> 3 dayThe projector was received well packaged and we put it to use right away. The picture and sound were clear and easy to change if needed. It has different options for watching videos, pictures, text and games. Overall, we are looking forward to using this in the summer as well, outside on the deck at nighttime. Fun way to enhance your tv experience.

> 3 dayThe most amazing thing that struck me about this projector was the quality of the unit at such a low price. Ive been watching the prices of digital projectors for a long time, but just could not justify hundreds or thousands of dollars for one. Decided to take a chance on this CIBEST unit for less than $200. We love it. Now we watch outdoor movies all the time. It is quick and easy to set up and take down. Picture and sound are very good. I highly recommend.

> 3 dayWhat kind of piece of crap projector doesnt even power on when you take it out the box? What does that say for their Quality Control, or lack thereof? Enough said!!! If you like unpacking, mounting and then repacking and doing a return the same day, this projector is for you!

> 3 dayThe only problem with this projector is that the fan works always on high and it’s load for small rooms. If you’re using it in a big room, it should work fine.

> 3 dayI like most everything about this projector, good picture quality, plenty of options for devices. Would have liked to see Bluetooth capability, easier-to-turn focus, ability to put on lens cap without cranking focus down. Using it for movies and Nintendo Switch with external speakers.
