Ive washed it once after I got it and its quite rough to the touch.

Towel shedding after first wash. Lint all over baby skin. Do not recommend

I was gifted this towel for my daughter 4 years ago and still love it. When I saw it on a registry, I knew it would be well loved.

My kids and I are sensitive to fragrance, and this item arrived just saturated in it… Smells very much like Febreeze or some similar fabric fragrance. Sort of defeats the purpose of buying organic fabric. I started itching just opening the box. I’ve had other organic fabric items purchased on Amazon arrive like this, so it may be a warehouse issue rather than a seller issue. And no amount of washing, soaking, airing out, sunning has managed to get the fragrance out on previous items. It only manages to make my washer smelly and any other items I wash with it. So I didn’t even try this time—just sending back. I’ve let Amazon know about this issue after the first three or four items arrived smelly, though they did not have a process in place to take my complaint.

Love this for my little one! It’s really thick compared to the ones from target or other amazon brand ones that I’ve gotten. It’s also got a cute design for the hood. Would definitely recommend for your little one!

Great towel. After washing the towel it didn’t leave residue! Cannot wait for my little one to arrive so she can use it!
