I’ve always been a skeptic when it comes to things like this, but to my surprise I was completely blown away when I tested this bag. If you’re a strong believer that an emp attack can and will happen and you need to protect your coms then I highly suggest you buy this. I was able to fit my phone, wife’s phone, our walkies, and even my baofeng radio with no problems. I will definitely be looking through the brochure that came with this product for future bags I will be ordering.

TheMission Darkness Faraday Bag for tablets works exactly as advertised. When a tablet or any mobile device is placed in the pouch, all wifi, GPS, bluetooth, 2G, 3G, Edge, and 4G signals are blocked until the device is taken out of the pouch. You can easily fit a tablet or two and some mobile phones. Its a bit too small for a laptop so only tablets will fit. I tried with an 11 2in1 notebook/tablet and the faraday bag was about an inch too small. This version doesnt have a window, so you cant check the status of any devices while in the bag, but I tested it and it definitely does block all frequencies while a device is inside the bag. Its durable and well made. It also comes with a serial number in case you have any issues with the bag and need to resolve it with the manufacturer. There is velcro at the top and after you put the device(s) inside the faraday bag, you just fold the top over twice and the two pieces of velcro will align together. I bought this to protect my iPad and iPhone when traveling outside the US. It fits well in my northface backpack and safeguards my data on both. It is highly durable and thoroughly masks everything I put in it. I highly recommend it to even the casual traveler as a must have to help protect sensitive information on your devices when they are not in use.

Ease of Use

Just a little pain to open it due to the Velcro.

I purchased this product to block GPS signals. It works as intended and as advertised! I tested it with my cell phone first and so success then I tested it with another unit that tracks GPS and it blocked the signal without any problems. Highly recommend this if you need to go dark.
