Mitutoyo 500-753-20,0Caliper, DIGIMATIC, 0-8, IP67, 0005 0/01 mm No SPC

I’ve used many Mitutoyo calipers and these feel cheap, loose, slow and inaccurate. I will end up buying another caliper from an authorized dealer and keep these in the garage.

Worth the money. Great quality.

No doubt, Mitutoyo is the best of reasonable caliper.

At the time of writing this review (late 2021) this caliper is the cheapest coolant proof caliper in the line up of good quality measurement tools. Ive had several Mitutoyo calipers, so quality was no concern when it came to buying this coolant proof one. I will say the market is saturated with fakes of Mitutoyo, but this one is legit! It is solid, repeatable, battery lasts well, and accurate. Ill often check it to micrometers, or stack up gauge blocks and a test indicator, and I havent ever seen it measure off more than .002. Ask anyone that actually knows about checking parts, and they wont trust calipers to less than .003-.005.

I own several Mitutoyo digital and/or dial calipers and the quality they put into their products is top notch. I have two 7 calipers, one dial and one digital and one 1 digital micrometer that are over 16-years old and they are as accurate as the day I purchased them, so when I needed an 8 digital caliper with mm and inch measuring capability I went straight to the Mitutoyo brand.
