MMOBIEL Digitizer compatible with iPad 5 2017 (White) 9.7 Inch Touchscreen Display Glass Assembly Incl. Tool kit

It worked from late September 2022 until late November 2022. Everything in the kit was fine, and it wasn’t that hard to install. iPad is basically unusable now and I have to replace it again. Not going with this brand again but they are probably all the same.

Only worked for 4 months. Now some areas of the touch screen do not function and I’ll have to buy another of better quality. Had to be professionally installed so that ups the price.

I was not able to fix my iPad with this. I ended up throwing the iPad in the trash as it was unrepairable after peeling off the screen which took for ever. I sent this kit back and just bought a refurbished iPad for $130 from walmart it was for my daughter which works perfect.

THE GOOD: Nice kit and tools, looks to be quality product, but DOES NOT FIT iPad 5 2017 9.7 Inch model types: A1822 A1823 as description reads! THE BAD: Poor instructions, key details left out, but online videos from others can see you through. THE UGLY: Description reads COMPATIBLE WITH: ONLY with iPad 5 2017 9.7 Inch model types: A1822 A1823, but I received glass for iPad air, so the plugs on the ribbon cables were incorrect and in the wrong place! Did not find this out until AFTER I fully disassembled my iPad A1822, and used the tools, only to find the connections were wrong. So now I have a disassembled iPad, and have to find the correct glass for my model A1822 Unfortunately, from the outside of the iPad, it is impossible to tell which ribbon cable/connection type you have, so the proper iPad model number is ESSENTIAL to get the correct glass for your specific model.
