Home button stopped working after one week

All good, well packaged. Dont forget to add a couple of drops of super glue where the flat cables bend. The adhesive isnt strong enough on its own.

Bought one first time. Worked for a few days and the screen came off. The tape that came with wasnt strong enough to hold them together. So when the screen came off the connecter broke off and it fell apart. We thought we didnt install it right. We werent all that comfortable buying the same product but we gave another chance and bought 2nd time. What a mistake. We were extra carful, watching and rewatching YouTube and installed.... its wasnt something we did wrong. The screen is loose and it might come off again. For now I used thick rubber band to hold them together. And theres more, the earphone will not go all the way in and iPad Air touch button is all loose and it seems as if its ready to come off. I truly dont know what to do. Im afraid to do anything with it...! Any suggestions ?

L’écran est pas de très bonne qualité. Étant donné le prix c’est une chose évidente. Très bon tuto pour l’installé Il faut être minutieux pendant la pose car l’écran est très fragile. Les couleurs sont moins bonnes mais on s’y habitue. C’est un écran d’appoint qui correspond à mon besoin actuel mais à la longue on peut vite être fatigué de la qualité visuel. Pour conclure si vous n’êtes pas attaché à la qualité Apple cet écran peut vous convenir mais soyez vigilant lors de l’installation

Auch für einen Laien machbar. Jedoch ist die Anleitung nur auf Englisch und wirklich kompliziert erklärt. Ein YouTube Video hat dort viel geholfen. Der QR-Code, den der Hersteller zur Verfügung gestellt hat, hat auf eine ominöse Internetseite beziehungsweise Amazon weiter verwiesen. Also ein Video als Anleitung war nicht zu sehen. wer sich selbst helfen kann, der ist mit dem Set gut dran. Ansonsten hat alles einwandfrei und perfekt funktioniert.

Product is good except for the instructions... they suck. Fortunately, there are a zillion YouTube videos showing how to do the repair. It’s nice that it comes with the needed tools as well.

It took some time to find the actual compatible model number for the iPad screen, as all Apple devices have the same stupid model number, but you have to find the generation and other things. I had a chat with Apple support twice to get the right model number. Once I did, I ordered it from this company and it came the next day due to Amazon Prime. I had to order two, because the first one arrived cracked. But I got a refund and ordered another, and after the glass was cleared away from the broken iPad, install took about 30 min. Apple would’ve charged me a minimum of £250 to have this fixed. I did it in 15 quid. If you think that you don’t have the technical expertise to fix your own iPad, think again. It is much easier than you think. If the iPad is going to be thrown away anyway, what do you have to lose? EDIT: iPad screen is glitchy and home button stopped working. But there is a setting called assistive touch I am now using, so still works.
