This part seems to be well constructed and is working well. It took me about 45 minutes to replace the charging port and battery on my wifes Samsung Tab 4 10.1 inch Nook version tablet. I recommend you check out a couple of videos on Youtube to learn how to make this repair. Several steps are not obvious. To me, there were two difficult sections of the repair. The first difficulty is initiating the task of removing the back from the tablet. Once I had loosened the first part of the back, the rest of the removal went smoothly. The other difficulty was putting the tiny screws back into their holes. My final recommendation is to replace the USB port if you are replacing the battery. The port is not very costly and does not add much additional work.

I absolutely hate when I open a package and find I have been deceived. the picture makes me think I am getting 3.5 to 4 long tools but they are not even 2 long. They work for the 1 time use they are intended for so I ask why lie about something so petty.

It is easy to install the replacement charging port and the more importantly, it works.

I had received the wrong part and had not been able to get it installed before the 30 days. The manufacturer refunded my money. Good company.
