After having tried smaller - lighter dual screens that attach to each side of my laptop - I found the quality was just not there - seemed a bit of a light weight - even a bit cheap. This unit is SOLID and the picture quality is just as good as my standard 24 monitor(s) I use on my tower system. The downside is the weight of the unit (Portable Monitor M156F01); however, both my 15 Lenovo laptop and this monitor fit in my backpack - just a bit heavier - yet still manageable. Overall - If the screen is as good as I think it is - I will probably sell my tower and 2 standard monitors and use my laptop and this screen as both my primary and portable system. Overall - my initial impression is very positive with the quality and the price, which was over $100 less than comparable screens.

I just got this monitor the other day and Ive already used it for several projects. It connects quick and easy to both my Galaxy s20 and my Dell laptop computer as a secondary monitor. The connection is simple and seamless, and the picture quality is amazingly crisp for work and for play. If you are looking for a quality monitor you can take anywhere, I would highly recommend this one!

I stumbled on this monitor when looking for a small display to use with a Single Board Computer project. I did not know what to expect but was blown away at what arrived. It works great for the project I intended it for but it has also found may other purposes. I can connect it as a send display for my Mac. My wife can use it for her Nintendo Switch. It’s portable and can run off a battery pack (already tested it and it works great). I contacted the company for questions and got an immediate response. There have been several companies that don’t even bother to respond to your questions about their product and that can be the difference in my purchase decision. This company has proven customer service and products that I will definitely buy again from. The second monitor will be ordered soon.

Overall, 5/5: super bang for your buck, considering the included protective case, all included cables, screen quality, and no weird drivers you have to download to make the monitor work. Right out of the excellently packaged box, I put on the included magnetic case to stand it upright, and used the included USB-C (video/audio) cable to plug into my work computer (running on Windows). The portable monitor lit up like a charm. After that, I unplugged it from my Windows laptop and plugged in my MacBook Pro (2020) with the same USB-C cable; again, it lit up like a charm. After all that I hooked it up to my OLD MacBook Pro (2014) with the HDMI-micro and power cables (both included) and - yet again - it still turned on just fine with seamless connectivity! I read reviews about the monitor having poor sound quality, and I would say that it isnt poor, but just not very loud. It was adequate for me to watch some training videos pretty well. The only complaint I would have, if any, is the brightness. BUT, thats only slightly an issue when connected to only the USB-C with no external power. If you plug in the power cable to the monitor as well as the USB-C, you obviously have more juice and the screen thus gets a little bit brighter.

I use this monitor for when I am working while travelling away from home. It is very compact to pack, simple to connect with a USB cable (although USB A and HDMI cords also supplied), and the case doubles up as a stand. It gets it power from the laptop so no need for a separate power cord. Other reviewers have commented about lack of brightness, but I have found it to be adequate while outside in the shade. Picture quality seems excellent although I am not using it to game

I opened and set up the monitor in just a few minutes. It would be helpful if they included a link on how to set you computer to use 2 monitors. Sure beats flipping between open windows.

Love this portable monitor. Screen shows a great picture and this monitor is very versatile. I use it on the road as I travel for work as an extension to my laptop screen, and I also frequently use it on airplanes as a duplicate screen to my cell phone when I want to watch a movie. Various different adapters, but the USB-C is the one that is compatible for everything I need. The speakers are great, and love the headphone jack that can also be used. Definitely recommend!

I purchased this monitor to use as a portable second monitor for my MacBook Pro. I was happy that it came with a short connector that did not need extra power or a dongle to make the cables work with my Mac. I wanted this monitor for traveling and for working away from my desk space. So far, its been nice. The only minor irritation is that the cover/stand it comes with isnt very sturdy. The monitor sometimes slips when standing up. If traveling, it also needs to be in some sort of a travel case for extra protection. Since I work outside, I also need to brighten the screen, but once I do, it works pretty well, even outdoors. Overall, its a nice monitor for the price!

Honestly, I didnt know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to connect and the screen display is clear & crisp. I love the fact that I can take this on travel to provide a 2nd screen for work. Im very happy with the purchase.

I am accustomed to using 3 monitors at my office. I am transition to working at home with retirement and new job opportunities. I wanted a solution that was easily collapsed as my home office is also a sitting room with a view from another room. I ended up ordering these monitors for some of the team at work and realized it would be perfect for me too. It hooked up quickly, is easy to use and really helps my functionality while not messing with the view of the room.
