> 3 dayI could only get the top zipper on this to zip twice when I was trying to pack it. I dont want to be in a situation where Im using a binder clip or tape to keep this together on the way home from a trip, so I returned it. Also, even when I could get the zippers to zip, there was a weird gap on both sides where the zippers meet. Im not ordering a replacement. It was also really floppy!

> 3 dayI recently purchased the Modoker Convertible Garment Bag on Amazon, enticed by its multi-functionality and sleek design. However, the product failed to meet my expectations, and I am extremely dissatisfied with my purchase. The first issue was with the shoulder strap; it refused to stay locked in a shorter position. As soon as I slung it over my shoulder, the strap would instantly slide to its furthest extension. This made carrying the bag not only inconvenient but also uncomfortable. The build quality of the bag was also disappointing. I noticed premature fraying of seams and around zippers. A brand-new bag shouldnt show such signs of wear and tear, which raises questions about the quality of materials used and the manufacturing process. The zippers, in particular, were a letdown. They became troublesome right from the get-go, with difficulty initiating the zipping process. Not only that, but they also had a tendency to come undone with simple movements, making them unreliable and impractical. I had to constantly check if my belongings were secure, which is not what you expect from a supposed carry-on bag. One of the D-rings at the end of the bag detached within about 30 minutes of carrying the bag, which led to an unfortunate, makeshift repair at the airport. Having to put a hole in a new bag just to continue my journey was definitely not part of my travel plan. Lastly, the return process was equally disappointing. Despite the evident quality issues, I was charged a restocking fee. This added insult to injury and left me feeling even more dissatisfied with my purchase. In conclusion, the Modoker Convertible Garment Bag was not a worthy purchase. Poor build quality, faulty zippers, and an unreliable strap system made my travel experience stressful rather than convenient. I regret my purchase and would not recommend this product.

> 3 dayOn the first trip, I used this bag for one of the zippers split leaving the bag the ability to come open despite being fully zipped. I have noticed it is very finicky so you may be able to zip it and it will hold but other times it seemingly finds a way to split itself open. It does get the clothes there wrinkle free though and is easy to maneuver and fit in an overhead bin on a plane.

Greater than one weekWanted a “different” garment bag for suits and sport coat-pant combo. This fit the bill. And no wrinkles. Traveled well, too. Plus it can double as a weekender when your travel attire doesn’t include a suit.

> 3 dayI had seen this style bag for a few weeks and decided to buy one. I am a pretty average sized guy with a 40R jacket size. The bag isn’t long enough for an entire jacket and hanger. It’s also very difficult to zip this up when full with 2 jackets, 2 shirts and a pair of shoes. I have more luck folding over and locking them into place in my carry on samsonite. By the time they come out of there they have less wrinkles than this bag.

Greater than one weekI am rewriting my review of the bag which was initially negative due to quality control and that all of the my buckles fell apart for not being sewn together. The customer service team noted my comments and sent me new bag as I was not aware of the 1 year warranty. The new bag is a marked improvement and more in line with what I was expecting upon my original order. I did not wait, like last time, and immediately packed the bag to test it out and how it would hold shape and how everything would perform. It held its shape very well and the snap buckles stayed intact even with a tight fit. I am now a happy customer!

> 3 dayIt really does hold a heckuva lot of stuff. Bonus there. Its also lightweight and comes with a shoulder strap, or there is a sleeve on one side that you can slip over your roller carry-ons handle. It is a pretty piece of luggage. I got the gray one. The shoulder strap and handles seem sturdy enough and the general construction seems pretty good. I think it would be fine as a weekend getaway bag, but Im not sure how long it will hold up to the rigors of flying cross-country like I do. This bag is not suitable for checking because the zippered ends do not close up all the way with the top. I purchased two locks with long wire closures to pass through the three zippers where they meet in order to secure them during travel, but I still wouldnt feel super secure checking the bag because of the typically rough handling that most luggage receives. One challenge was that it did NOT fit under the seat in front of me. I had to put it up in the overhead compartment, where I already had a roller carryon. Space up there was already tight and I got some grumbly comments from other passengers, but I really had no choice. (Sorry, other flyers.)
