Moen 3919 2.2 GPM Male Thread Kitchen Faucet Aerator, Chrome

Second time purchaser
> 3 dayTwo weeks ago, I had a new kitchen faucet installed &, after installation, I asked my plumber why the water flow was so weak. He did not seem to know. I took off the aerator to see if there was some restriction that could be removed to enable my sink or containers to fill more quickly & for my water to get hot as fast as it did before. The aerator could not be modified. So I did my research & found out that all newer faucets come with a 1.5 gpm (gallon per minute) aerator as opposed to older faucets that traditionally had 2.2 gpm. OK, Ill just go to Menards & pick up a different aerator. Oh no, you wont. They only carry 1.5 & this is apparently to discourage using water at a higher flow rate. Well, Mr. Brilliant EPA Guy, it takes just as much water to fill my sink as it did before. I just have to wait twice as long for it to fill. Also, it takes much longer for the cold water to leave the hot water pipe so I can get to the hot water. I can understand the rationale here but here we go again with some Government Agency determining how I can live my life. Thank God for Amazon!!! I went online & searched for a Moen 2.2 gpm aerator & there it was. I got it today & it fits like a charm & FINALLY I have acceptable water pressure. LOVE IT!! BTW, I have a private well so Im not tapping into public water with my wasteful methods. Come & get me, Water Police.

> 3 dayWe needed a Replacement for our kitchen Moen faucet. My husband had initially purchased one from Home Depot but as soon as we placed the aerator on the spout it sprayed all over sink. Water flow was low as well...therefore that was returned to HD. We then found this replacement aerator here at Amazon and it worked well. Easy to replace by hand. Water flow is great no over spray or leak. It’s been a week or so and we are still happy.

> 3 dayI have 4 Moen faucets that are the same age as my house, 12 years old. Some of them were not flowing that well any more. At first I tried going out to a home improvement store to get new generic ones, but they did not fit, so I thought why not just order some Moen ones on Amazon. These worked out really nice and fit my old faucets perfectly. I had forgotten how well they used to flow when they were new, and now the faucets flow like they did when they were new.

> 3 dayAfter trying countless other aerators, nothing compares to the Moens. Without having any test results, I put all my money on these as having the most aeration, and least amount of splashing. They also work very well with low water pressure, still providing a nice aerated stream. (this is where cheaper aerators always fail). Ive used these in over 1500 different residences. If you ever see anyone throwing away an old Moen faucet, be sure to grab the aerator off it first.
