Does just what I want it to. I had it installed by my commode and depend on it due to bad knees. It must be mounted into something substantial (behind my drywall is wood) in order to be effective.

As my family members and I are getting older, I was concerned about safety getting into and out of the shower. The safety bar has alleviated that concern. My husband installed it according to package directions. The bar finish matches the finish of other hardware in the bathroom. It looks very nice!!!

Nice looking and very sturdy. It works well for my husband who is 279 lbs.

Reliable, sturdy

Ive now installed two of these grab bars, of different finishes, after having a minor stroke. The included Phillips screws were impossible to screw in in one of the installations, the heads stripping out. I replaced the screws in this installation. The trim pieces were hard to attach, and the directions should have said to hook on one side, and then press hard until they snap into place. Live and learn. They are very attractive, and the scalloped-shape aids gripping.

This is sure lifesaver.

Reliable product

Since when does an item have only a 30 day return policy? I bought this item and many more for a total kitchen and two bathroom upgrades. The master bathroom was the last upgrade and they finished only one week ago just for Christmas. I decided not to install the grab bar. I have bought many items from Amazon over the years and this is the only time I am not able to return an item. Maybe from now on I will shop some where else.

Semi handicapped and it is very sturdy and was easy to install

The built in hadgrips make this the perfect handrail for the shower. Very strong, also. And the 1 1/4 inch diameter is and excellent grip size.
