Pro Fit mounting system is terrible. Shame, because otherwise it is a nice product.

Color, finish and style! Absolutely love this faucet and upgrade from moen chrome fixtures to oil rubbed bronze as part of our bathroom upgrade. I highly recommend.

The towel bar looks very nice in our bathroom. However, the mounting bracket has one anchor point in the center of the bracket. I created a second anchor point using a dry wall anchor to fasten the bracket through one of the additional holes near the edge of the bracket. The old way of attaching towel bars, etc. using two toggle screws worked much better.

Could have had a bit more curve for larger towels. Nice deaign.

I bought this to match the existing fixtures in my master bathroom. The bar is fairly straight-forward to mount but I am not a fan of the mounting system. Drilling a hole and putting the bolt through and tightening with a screwdriver is simple enough. The problem is with the metal teeth that stick out of the back of the plastic mount. I could not get them to sink into the drywall easily and they just ended up bending out of shape. So I had to discard them. The bar is sturdy and looks great as it matches the other fixtures well.

And yes, as other reviews mentioned it seems like every Moen fixture has a different mounting design. Its solid, but i used my own toggles to mount the 18 inch bar when it arrived.

This Towel Bar comes in sections but is easy to mount and instructions are easy to follow. It is important to follow guidlines for measuring of wall mount so that the bar will fit correctly. But as stated, the instructions make things clear. Once together, everything is tight and secure. There is some back and forth play in the actual towel bar as it slides into each side piece. Finish is very nice on the Moen Eva Line.

I would rate the look and quality of this product as five stars. However, after factoring in the hassle of dealing with the Pro-Fit installation system, my overall rating is three stars. As several other reviews have noted, you have to tighten the screw for the mount more than the 6- 8 full turns as stated in the instructions. Based on the comments online, I ran a test on a small piece of scrap half-inch thick drywall that I had, and it took twelve (12) full turns to securely tighten the mount. How could the directions be so far off? The other issue is good luck if you ever have to remove the fixture (e.g.,towel ring, robe hook, etc.) from the wall mount. What appears like a fairly straightforward process is extremely difficult to do without damaging the wall mount, the fixture, or the wall. Personally, I would have preferred that the Eva collection of bathroom fixtures came with the traditional mounting system and not the Pro-Fit installation system.
