I had no issues setting up the plug and app. I tried it with a couple different lights. And it worked perfectly for them all. Loved being able to adjust the dining room wall lights with out having to get up. In the bedroom it was great to have the lamp dimmed and then be able to shut off while in bed. Will definitely be buying a couple more to use thruout the house.

Ended up to be easy to install and works well with Alexa. It does has it quarks, but for the price it’s a great buy.

Set-up was super fast and intuitive (the app basically does it for you). Customization is fantastic - dimming, complex timing schedules, coordination with other devices, etc. Im getting more.

I have tried a lot of smart outlets. Theyve run the gamut from super easy to setup to barely working and hours-long setup process. The MOES smart outlet is up there with one of the easiest Ive ever seen. I took it out of the box, plugged it in to the wall, downloaded the app (QR code in the manual or you can just search and install the Smart Life app). From there, after a 30 second process to create an account and login, I clicked the plus symbol to add a new device. It saw the device and had an add button. I filled in my wifi info, next-next-next and done! In the Smart Life app, there were options to connect to Alexa and Google Home. Both worked flawlessly. Now, in the app or via either smart home tool, you can turn the outlet (for me a lamp) off and on, and dim the light! Very cool and easy to set up. This outlet was priced well, easy to set up and works flawlessly. I definitely recommend it!

My Internet provider upgraded the modem and the router, and the majority of my smart plugs would not connect after that. The smart plug was the only one that continue to work on the 5G..

I love smart plugs, and this one is no exception. They just make life easier.

Once you get it connected to Wifi it works fine. I had to return the first one I ordered because It would not connect. When I got the replacement it took a while to connect. Once it’s connected to the WiFi, It connects to Alexa immediately.

A few months ago I got an antique tension pole lamp that has three separate bulbs in it, it was kind of a pain to turn all of them on and off all the time; not to mention the loud clicks the old switches made could literally wake you from your sleep. Ive had this for about 2 months now connected to our google hub/nest with no issues, so much nicer to just turn it off from my phone or voice command
