The rack itself is fine, but the provided desk mount screws each broke while trying to secure to a birch desktop. Not a big complaint, but a bit annoying. If I tapped the screw hole it would have been fine, but the screws seem a bit cheap and self-tapping screws would have been nice.

Installed in my utility room to hold a switch and firewall. Sturdy once all screwed down. Not necessarily made to, but hung the unit vertically without issue.

Works great to hold a 1u device. Since most studs are 16-24” on center depending on local codes, not 19”, best to use a piece of plywood behind the unit to ensure good solid backing if you hang a server or heavy equipment.

Mounted a switch in my basement and this was the perfect mount. Super light and heavy duty. Cisco 48 port POE switch mounted perfectly and is super sturdy.

The overall quality of the build is there for the Rack. The three stars are for the lack of hardware to mount devices to the 4U sized Rack. I ordered the 4u size needing to use all 4 spaces yet the unit only ships with one set of fasteners which I assume are for the 1u unit that can be selected. It would have been more helpful for me to receive the retaining nuts needed for the rack than the masonry anchors that ship with the unit and not needed for the way the rack was installed.

Sturdy enough for the switches I mounted, and a good value at the price I payed.
