Greater than one weekInexpensive and well-made switch is quiet and stays relatively cool while in use; the built-in power supply is an added plus so theres no external power brick to deal with. POE devices work great as expected and the SFP uplink ports work well and stays connected to the server.

> 3 dayOver the last few months I have played with a lot of PoE switches and equipment and, for the money, this switch seems to be one of the better deals I have seen. First off, for 8 PoE ports, gigabit, 4 uplink ports, and a 120W power budget, the price is great. And, at least so far, it seems to actually work pretty well. While I havent loaded it all that heavily, it has worked with every device I have tested it with so far. Having two standard gigabit uplink ports is also nice and makes it very easy to cascade switches if needed. Also, this is the first switch I have seen in this price range and with these specs that included a pair of small form factor pluggable ports. While I dont need them immediately, I am happy to have them as it makes it much easier in case I want to run fiber optic cable outside my house or to my shed at some point. That this switch includes these two ports is essentially just icing on the cake. About the only negative comment I have on this switch is that the activity LED layout isnt the greatest and neither is the amount of information conveyed. It does at least show when something is connected and it blinks for activity, but connection speed and PoE power level would be nice indicators to have. Overall though, this switch seems to be one of the best deals I have found in terms of capability for the price.

> 3 dayThe Mokerlink 8-PoE switch comes with power cable and instructions. The unit has some heft to it and is well-made (all-metal chassis). Looking inside, a reasonable sized transformer. Great value for 8-PoE slots, plus two for SFP ports (which I dont need at the moment) and it supports 10/100/1000 Mbps. Running six 4k PoE cameras (one is a PTZ), there was no lost in video resolution that I can tell. This unit is replacing a 4 -PoE plus a 2-PoE switch. With this switch, I still have two more ethernet slots to use. Rated 5-stars.

> 3 dayI had a 4 port POE switch for an ip cam and an outdoor POE Wi-Fi router but upgraded to this 8 port switch to accommodate more POE devices I recently got. This switch has gigabit speeds which is perfect for relocating a Wi-Fi router or devices that benefit from faster speeds, if I was using a switch for just ip cameras then I would have probably gone for a 10/100Mb just to keep the cost low since they don’t require much speed. The switch can output 30watts per port which should be enough for most devices and it also disables output power for devices that don’t require POE. Overall the switch has been working perfectly for my needs so far.

Greater than one weekA Great price and nice quality for this small PoE Switch. I tested this with my Yealink phone and a PoE camera and it functioned exactly as expected. The switch is unmanaged so there is no interface to report. I found it was also great that they included 2 SFP cages for those who need a fiber uplink for distance.

> 3 dayThis switch is really good. I was able to replace all the messy PoE injectors I had for my wireless access points and have the power come directly from this switch. So far, the switch has been really stable and fast, and the fact that the power supply is built into the switch is GAME CHANGING. Im on a mission to replace all those DC converter boxes that take up more than one plug space. This one uses a standard PC power cable, and I love that. The instruction manual is generic for many products, and this is where the product falls short. Not having a specific manual for the particular switch meant I had to go hunting on the Internet to figure out what the Extend 7-8 toggle did (It lets you violate the ethernet 100M range by sacrificing speed... Which I imagine is useful in EXTREMELY niche cases). The instruction manual also implied there was some configuration possible on uplink port speed, but this is an unmanaged switch, and theres only one toggle switch on the device. Everything is auto-negotiated, and I wasted some time trying to figure out how to configure it because the instructions were unclear.

> 3 dayThese are cheap inexpensive switch. They work as described.

> 3 dayThis MokerLink PoE switch helped me clean up some of the wiring mess I previously had. Ive been using a Ruckus WiFi hotspot for the (large) yard and it ended up being jury rigged since the prior switch wasnt PoE. I had to run an extension cord and an AC adapter to get the WiFi running. With this MokerLink switch, I was able to eliminate the extension cord and power supply and have the Ruckus powered over the CAT5 cable alone. Power seems good and the wifi is strong. Good switch!

Greater than one weekIf you are looking for a basic true plug-and-play switch with POE ports for cameras or access points then this is what you need. There is no web interface or any type of configuration that you can configure on the switch so everything is automatic. The PoE function of this makes it ideal for cameras as you can increase the power on two of the ports for far reaching cameras that use a bit more power than standard for LED lights a night or motorized panning and zooming. The SPFs are a great option for connecting this switch via a fiber connection for really long runs from the main network like a barn or shed that is away from the main building. The LED indicator lights are very small and produce very little light, but you can clearly seen the ports activity. A simple no nonsense PoE switch that just works.

> 3 dayThis is a good solution for my network. It provides the POE ports I needed for some security cameras and for a bridge connection. Maybe not for everyone, but it worked well for my needs.
