Edit to add this seat is perfect for my daughter. She LOVES it. Its cushy for her butt and her pee goes right where it should. This fits pretty nice in our round toilet seat. My only complaint is that for my 2 year old son his pee goes everywhere. The raised lip around the front to catch the pee isnt high enough and the pee just shoots over the front. I have to stand with him to make sure his pee goes in the toilet not over the top (when he is sitting).

This little seat has been fantastic! In our household it is aka the duck seat. We have a little independent potty that sits on the floor. My daughter has been resistant to using it. She wanted to use the same toilet that the adults are using. We use a little foot stool for her to step up to the toilet and viola she has been initiating use of the toilet on her own. It is fairly good quality, appears to be comfortable and most importantly it is helping with the potty training process. I would not hesitate to purchase it :)

Pros: This seat fits all the different toilets I’ve used it on. The padding is soft, and the whole thing is easily cleaned. It’s a great size or putting in a diaper bag for public bathroom use. Cons: The seat is small, and the opening is so small that I think most children would pee right over the front, girls included. We had to position my grandson on it very carefully to prevent this when he was 23 months old. If he wiggled, the alignment was wrong. Now at 25 months it’s almost impossible to get it right. He is not large for his age, either. This seat may be good if you have a petite child at around 18 months old.

Soft on bottom, size is great for small bottoms, but not designed well enough for a boy at all. I have to place tissue at his wee so it doesnt shoot on nor over the so-called raised barrier. (Its a very short raised hump.) Also this seat is not good at all for longer than average toilets. The seat slides completely back and now cant be used cause my daughter thinks shell fall in. Id send it back but she sits so comfortably on it (like 5-10 mins playing while waiting to go poo) with absolutely no pain complaints.

Overall, I really like this seat. I had previously bought a 3 in 1, where my son would sit on the potty on the ground first, then transition up to the big toilet but the seat was too hard (no cushioning whatsoever) and he hated it. He would refuse to sit on it, even if I helped him. This seat is really nice. Plenty of cushioning and even though I started my son off on it at 6 months, it isnt scary or too big. For him. He can sit on it unassisted (without me holding him up). It fits my potty well. (Small, oval shaped - standard). I agree with previous posters that pee can leak through but I just sit him far enough back that it doesnt leak and it certainly doesnt spray me in any way.. Overall, great product..missing a star because of the minor leaking issues,

Pros: Stable on the toilet, not super tacky looking, entirely padded for comfort, lifting handle and included wall hook are great. Cons: The guard doesnt do anything and makes dismount harder, and it is hard to clean. The hard plastic rim underneath it is not removable, so if pee gets in between it and the seat (which it will, if you have a boy), its nearly impossible to get out without submerging it (which the instructions say not to do). For this reason I dont think this is going to have an especially long lifespan.

I purchased this seat for our fourteen month old son as a result of him really fighting diaper changes. I have no real hopes of him being trained yet, but wanted to explore a solution to his objections with diapers. I didnt have high expectations of this seat, but for the price I gave it a shot. Its okay. Just okay. It has a ring underneath the training seat to set into the hole of the regular toilet seat, but it does not fit in ours very well and can slide forward and backward if our son moves too much. The splash guard is essentially useless for boys and does not prevent leaks over the lip of the seat at all unless we are very vigilant in making sure everything is pointing down (even then, it barely shields where you need it to). My son does love the ducks on the seat and that it hangs on the wall next to the toilet. He grabs it himself and asks to put it on the toilet so he can sit on it. Its cushy and comfortable, but I maintain that this seat is better for little girls. I will be investing in a seat with a much higher and contoured splash guard for our son.

But I dont so much. the bubble that you see on the picture is not covering anything like in most seats. Also another draw back to this one is that there is a lip of where the seats plastic was sealed together. So if your boy (most likely only a problem for boys) doesnt sit all the way back or doesnt push down enough, when you go to remove the seat urine falls all over the place. Its the only reason I bought another seat and only use this in the bathroom that hardly gets used. Also now that I think about it, it is kind of tall so if you use it for younger children it may be more of a problem and a step should be used.
