The car charger works well out of the box. My vehicle is older and lacks USB ports. It is important that the car charger is dual as it is used to charge the smartphone simultaneously with a Bluetooth device to stream in audiobooks. The soft blue light makes it easy to located as the lighter-plug in is lower on the console and not easily seen--especially at night. I am happy with the product and would recommend. Good value.

Quality. Product performs as advertised. My 2.4a charger wouldnt even keep battery charged on long drives - using GPS and Bluetooth. This 3.0a charger is STRONG. Even with GPS and Bluetooth running, it boosted my battery by about 50% in about 30 minutes. Dont buy the cheap ones at the check out counters. Buy this one. You wont regret it.

Charger is packed nicely with a soft plastic bag in a cut out foam block in a cardboard box. The charger is hefty and substantial and feels like good quality in the hand. Low profile design keeps it out of the way. The blue ring is LED lit, but is a nice soft light that is noticeable but not lighting up the car. Im replacing an old plastic one I got from a gas station that had connection problems with the cars lighter socket. Thankfully this one fixed that problem.

I was happily surprised to feel just how heavy and not cheap it feels. My husband works road construction and he heavily relies on charging his phone and earpieces in his truck every day. Its fantastic! Also the product we got had the voucher to get a 2nd one for free. It was ridiculously easy to get that. Now my car has one and Im so happy!

this is the best charger ive found for being able ti charge phones quickly and the fact its so compact there is a do little space in some consoles this is the best !!

Our phones were charging too slow in my car w/ an older USB/12V socket adapter. It was supposedly 2.4A per slot. My phone has a battery charge/discharge measuring app, and charging with the old adapter was only showing about 640mA max charge current (w/ phone battery around 50%). With the Qualcomm 3.0 charge adapter, the phone shows 2130mA charge current max, and appears to gain 1 % every 1.5 minutes, or from 50% charge to 90% in about an hour. My phone has a 5000mAh battery that uses a Turbo wall outlet charger in the house and Im not sure of its charging rate, but it makes the battery warm. The Qualcomm 3.0 adapter doesnt warm the battery much at all, but the phone recognizes that its seeing a faster charge and states TurboPower connected when plugged into it. The phone will also state Charging rapidly for a medium current charge, and Charging slowly for a low current charge (like when its charging off the computer). Also, my phone has a micro USB input and I use a 2.0 ribbon cord. My guess is that a USB C input and a 3.0 cord would allow a full 3 A - 6 V charge power from this adapter. The lighted blue ring is also nice, as it shows when the 12V socket is hot. I wish it would sit a bit more flush in the socket, as my cars cover door doesnt quite close all the way.

Build quality is top notch, all metal case ,solid spring contacts, sized very small so it is not in your way in the dash or center console. Only had it for a week and it charges my galaxy note 9 quickly...as well as my LG V60. The LG V60 software is tricky...if I use my phone while it is plugged in then the charge speed is slower ..if the phone is not in use , then it charges faster. Charger has a nice blue ring light around the USB ports..not too bright and pleasing at night. I cannot say anything about the durability of this car charger but based on the solid build quality I think it will last a lot of years . Overall a great value for money in my opinion.

It fits perfectly in my 2018 Hyundai Elentra. My old one was plastic and would always pop out of the socket and this one hasnt done it yet. Its also heavy duty and sleek looking. It fast charges my galaxy s10 as well.

I used it during my cross country trip from NJ to CA. Definitely one of the best product I purchased. As we used to spend most of the time outdoor during our trip, I never used my portable powerbank even once as this charger has a great charging power.
