This game is great when played with the given rules but its flexible enough to make up your own rules for different rounds.

Played with a group of friends on a recent beach trip. Enjoyed it so much, we played it every night in lieu of every other game!!!!

Fun game for a group

I love this game. Its a great ice breaker, perfect for parties and family gatherings. Its kind of a combination of taboo and charades. The rules are easy to understand. Nothing too complicated. A good memory helps when you get to the 3rd round.

If youre the sort of person who gets a kick out of seeing your friends roll around on the floor in an attempt to impersonate a walrus, this is the game for you! Always hilarious and highly social, Monikers is a great party game.

As many other reviews have said, this game has three rounds; the first is basically catch phrase, the second you only use one word to describe what people are guessing, and the third is charades. You use the same clues each round so that they build on each other. I played a homemade version before and liked it, so thought Id check this game out. Based on reviews I read, I was expecting it to be an adult game like cards against humanity. Its really not, though. I played it with my husbands parents and did not feel awkward at all. There are a lot of pop culture references and some of the descriptions are slightly crude jokes or inappropriate for kids, but its easy to pick out those cards if you dont want to use them. I thought the game was really fun and simple to play with a big group of people. It is a great balance of being simple and yet engaging enough to entertain for a long time. Ill probably buy the expansion because weve played it enough already to go through most of the cards.

We always do board games on visits and this was very interactive and hilarious. Really enjoyed. There were six of us and we did teams.
