According to “Swatches” the color is actually “Punch” which is mostly red but still manages to clash with the theme I was trying to go for. I bought video, network and audio cables in red and they all managed to be pretty much pure red, but not this one. Other than that it’s a perfectly serviceable power cord - kind of hard to go wrong functionally - it plugs in snugly, fits correctly and conducts electricity without catching on fire. I just can’t think of a reason to buy this item other than for its color (there are plenty of cheaper alternatives in traditional black) and it’s definitely not the color it is advertised as.
