Greater than one weekThis says it is for ages 18mo+. I dont think there is anything that would harm a baby younger than that, but there will be some things they wont be able to do. They can chew on the tentacles, but pushing the balls might not be accomplished, not that they would know it was something they were supposed to do! Actually, I found it kind of fun to play with! So many toys are for babies or over 3 year old. Its nice to find something for the in between age.

01-06-2025As a mother and an elementary school teacher, I love Montesorri inspired toys. This one looks like fun, with things to hold on to, grab, push and pull. There are many parts that toddlers can play with (or chew on). However, I am a bit concerned about the safety of this product. First, there are two holes next to the pop-its in which kids are supposed to grab onto. However, I could easily see a small toddler getting their fingers stuck in the holes. My other question about safety is the recommended age. On the Amazon listing it says that the toy is recommended for ages 18 months+. However, on the box I received it said do not give to children under 3 years.

07-06-2025Best toy for travel, period! My 8 mo. old loves this toy and it was his favorite on long travel days: airplanes, cars etc. I love the holes at the end of the orange and purple ropes so I can connect it to a ring and then to the car seat handle or something else to prevent him from dropping it constantly. This toy works wonders and he finds it fascinating! Buy it if youre about to travel, its a life saver.
