> 24 hourThese letters are wonderful. They are smooth and feel great in your hands. They are not terribly thick, but they look like they will last if used as a learning tool. My 5 y.o. has been surprisingly interested in the games we play with them. Great for reading/spelling practice.

> 24 hourI home school my 5 year old and we have found these letters to be a huge help in reading and spelling. We use them in addition to copywork with her mcguffey primer. Its always fun for her! Totally recommend if teaching reading and spelling.

> 24 hourVery well made. I am a Montessori teacher and I love that the letters are painted on one side and plain wood on the other. It is a such a nice visual correction for the child to help prevent reversed letters. The box and the letters are sturdy and are both good sizes-very manageable for the children to handle. The bottom of each section is labeled which is also a nice feature. I will order another box for my classroom soon.

> 24 hourThe small one perfect size. The letters are about as big as the palm of your hand and the single box is great.

> 24 hourMy kids (Four and Three) love this. My wife and I will often spell out words on a piece of paper and have them mimic the words with the alphabet pieces. It didnt take too long before my four-year-old was spelling out her own words. The theory behind Montessori materials is sound--when kids are able to touch and feel the shapes of the letters, they are able to learn the letters more quickly, and it sticks with them better. On a practical note, these durable and having the box helps to minimize lost pieces. All in all, this product is worth every penny.

> 24 hourI bought this for my son back when he was learning letters and words. I think having a movable alphabet is very helpful. I even made up word games that he and I could play together using it. You start with letters, then words, then sentences, and then paragraphs. You will get a lot of use out of it.
