Great quality cable. MOOKEERF SMA Male to BNC Male cable 15 ft. This product works great.

I got this cable to interface to a software defined radio. Seems decent enough, although the BNC end feels like it’s slightly loose and could use a little more spring tension. No matter, it worked fine when compared with another patch cable of similar length.

I have quite a few Moonkeerf cables now and have impressed with the quality. This RG8x cable is no exception. It has very low loss. I have ran this from one of my hf radios to a dipole outside. I did add an SMA to UHF adapter to connect it to the tuner. Getting great readings on the nanovna. Moonkeerf does a great job on the connections and heatshrink on the ends.

i havent had the opportunity to use this yet, but it was ziptied and tightly wound in its box. i like the overall appearance, feel, length and sturdyness. it also looks very durable. Strong cable cord, terminated with well and firm, Quality made fittings/connectors, each secured by a hefty, thick heat shrink. very very nice

I picked up this cable specifically for use between a SDR (SMA) and a portable antenna with a BNC connector. I typically try to purchase application-specific cables when possible to reduce the insertion loss from various adapters. This cable from MOOKEERF fit my needs perfectly. As with other MOOKEERF cables Ive purchased, this one has excellent build quality with quality cable and connectors. I dont use these in a permanent outdoor scenario so cant really speak to their resistance to the elements. For my application-specific use cases, these cables perform with excellence and Im very satisfied.

The cable is stiff, but seems durable. Each end has a generous length of heat shrink to reinforce the connector. The SMA connector has a gold plated barrel and pin; the BNC connector barrel is nickel plated with a gold plated pin. I measured insertion loss using a Nano-VNA: 1.0 dB @ 3000 MHz 0.8 dB @ 2000 MHz 0.4 dB @ 1000 MHz 0.4 dB @ 500 MHz 0.0 dB @ 50 kHz The cable should be sufficient for hobby purposes and for the cost is a good value.

I needed to connect a spectrum analyzer to an amplifier which was located on another test bench and this cable assembly was perfect. It is extremely well-built with extra-long sleeves at the connector attachments. I could have used a BNC cable with BNC to SMA adaptors, but I wanted a standalone cable which was designed and tested to minimize cable effects on transmission qualities. I did, however compare the two candidate cable assemblies with a VNA and found this assembly was significantly better than the BNC plus adaptor solution. Highly recommend this item.

Another great cable from MOOKEERF. I have several of the brands they sell and all have been good. They test at or better than specifications.

If you do much with RF, test gear, or ham radio, you know the the BNC and SMA connectors are some of the most common today, and jumper cables often need different connectors on each end. This is one of those cables that you just want on the shelf for when, not if, you need it, and the length of 6 feet that I chose is just because that seems to be around arms length, which is often a semi-circle describing where my tech stuff is relative to my chair. The cable seems to be well-made with thick-walled, yellow heat shrink tubing at each connector. You can just see a little adhesive ooze-out in the photo, confirming that is adhesive lined, providing both strength and some water resistance, although I wouldnt leave either SMA or BNC connectors out in the weather long-term. The white jacket of the cable is imprinted RG8X Low Loss Coaxial Cable, showing that it is the advertised variety of coax cable. I saw no brand name on the cable, but I wasnt expecting something like Belden or Pasternack at this price point. RG-8X is not what I would call low loss. Its more of a modest loss, with a lot less loss than RG-58 and a lot more loss than RG-6. This six foot cable length of cable would add about 0.8db of attenuation at 1GHz, 0.5dB at 500MHz, and less than 0.1dB throughout the HF ham bands (<30MH). Thats exclusive of any losses due to SWR and impedance mismatches, of course. Basically, this is a decent trade-off between attenuation, diameter, weight, and flexibility for typical uses. MOOKEERF has supplied a number of cables that I have and although a few were just a bit short, this one is almost exactly six feet long -- to the best one could expect for any commercial cable assembly. Im happy to recommend this.

This is on me. I quit reading when I saw RG8x and ordered it. I should have looked at the specs better. The first indicator for me that it was different than what I was used to was how stiff the coax is. Thats because it has a solid core. This is fine if you will be using it in a fixed location. I was expecting the typical stranded center conductor which is a much more flexible and reliable coax for field use. After going back and reviewing the listing, this coax looked more like RG9 or RG6 Dual Shield coax (which is a 75Ohm cable). So, I checked it out with a vector network analyzer and compared it against some known RG8x cable. When checked for loss it was the same spec. When checked for impedence, it showed 50Ohms as expected. Next I cut it open to check how good a coverage the braid and shield were providing. Looked good. I wish this coax had a stranded core. Other than that, seems to be a nice cable that meets specs.
