First time trying a gas lens and I was impressed the results. Unfortunately, even though I had the guard that comes with it on, in just six welds the cup cracked. I haven’t taken the guard off, as I’m worried the $20+ cup will fall apart.

Other than the fact the screen will arc and stuck to your tungsten. Its a great cup

I seriously dont know how I lived without these. The gas coverage and ability to basically run any stick out you want is amazing. Worth every penny.

I use a gas lens (usually with a #7 cup) for all my welding. I bought these just to try them out and man even my mild steel looks like stainless.
