this little mop works great and holds up, I have purchased this mop several times in the past ( years ago) and they are still going strong, I bought more as Im using them in different areas..easy to use and I thought the ratchet action that wrings them out wouldnt last long..I was wrong, I have twisted the mechanism quite tight and it hasnt broken yet...cleaning is easy just hold under a tub spout or sink and after a few squeezings they are pretty much clean...I washed an entire 2nd floor hard wood floor using a bucket and this mop does well and doesnt leave any streaking...I bought extra mop heads but havent needed them yet, i guess it depends on how dirty the floor is and with what...dont hesitate to buy one...and as final disclaimer..I do not represent the company or get any free merchandise in exchange for a good review.....

I grew up in the 1960s where we had string mops, spaghetti mops, and sponge mops. Coming from a low income family, we could only afford the string mops and these didnt have self-installed wringers. You had to get down into it and wring with all of your might! They were thick, heavy, and I was only 12 years old, but I had chores to do and was not about to come up against the rules of the house. Me and my siblings rotated on the mopping schedule and those mops CLEANED. Of course you had to apply elbow grease, but with some White Cap (phily product back then) and Top Job (another philly product) or even some Mr. Clean, and if we didnt have those, we always had (uck!) Pine Oil to clean all of those nooks and crannies and wipe the grease off with a few quick swipes. Those mops didnt play. This mop reminds me of those days, except its sleek, light weight, and self-installed wringer cleans, saves me a ton of time, and is the best mop Ive found in years. And I really mean years. I love this mop. Its almost too bad Im already married. (kidding).

So heres the thing..... you cant leave it in water after a day. The material tears and itll just be a regular mop. Also, the snap come off and its not possible to put back on so I suggest once its new and out the box dont use it yet. Get sturdy ribbon and go through each loop, tying the ribbon in a tight knot at the top and do the same at the bottom of the mop. This will ensure it from becoming a regular mop. Once its a regular mop I just dont see the point of using it.

I can never get the water wrung out. The mop is always a little ball with very little surface to use. It does clean well, but I would never buy it again. I feel like I have to wrestle it into shape. It is a constant battle. Try something else .

It does the job but it is a cheap design. For the money, it is alright.

I purchased this mop to soak up the condensation in parts of the rv that are difficult for me to reach. This mop absorbs the moisture, is easy to wring out and dries out rather quickly. The downside would be that it is clumsy when used in a more traditional use to clean a floor. The clumsiness is due to the mop head locking mechanism where the head only locks in one position and that is when the mop head is almost fully retracted. When the mop head has been fully extended for cleaning a floor, the mop head travels up and down which makes it almost impossible to apply pressure to specific areas that need cleaning. If you are looking for a mop to clean a floor that has spills / dirty spots, this mop does not work well.

The plastic retainer ring breaks very easily when wringing out

My husband likes this mop. Its too hard for me to push down to rinse. The mop heads go right in the washer/dryer for easy cleaning.
