I installed a Car Play system into a 2015 Chevy Cruz that we let our son drive. He plugs in his phone and uses it for navigation, etc. I wanted to make sure they he always has it on in case we need to call him while hes driving - I dont want the one time he needs to answer the phone the time he didnt connect. Plus, hes less likely to leave his phone in the car if he doesnt have to take it out of his pocket.

I have a 2018 Honda CRV with Wired CarPlay, and this device works perfectly to make it wireless! The included instruction booklet with photos made it extremely easy to set up. After the initial set up, my phone now connects automatically every time I turn on the car. It does exactly what I was hoping it would do and I couldn’t be more pleased with it!

I dont understand why many car brands only offer wired CarPlay functionality, which is inconvenient and messy. However, its worth noting that this adapter only works on cars with wired CarPlay. Compared to my old adapter, the upgraded version is much faster, with a connection time of only a third of the older model.

So I’ll admit, I was really skeptical this product would work. I have another one of these wireless adapters and it’s terrible to the point of being useless… it’s constantly dropping the connection, and it can’t play songs without skipping. But to my surprise and delight, this one just… worked. Just pair the Bluetooth and go. That’s it. It stays connected, and now I don’t need to connect my phone to the car via a lightning cable.

Great device! Had no problem connecting the phone Bluetooth, and when I plugged it in to the car, it recognized it and started up with no issues.

Love the fit, perfect for my Sony headphones I received for Christmas.

The volume up button stopped working after a month...maybe a fluke/defective unit? Using an app on our phones until the replacement comes! Other than that, remote works like the original. Very easy to sync!
