I am a 54, moderately strong female and I got this thing up and installed by myself in a reasonable amount of time. Heres my advice... If you are installing this directly into studs, you are going to need to purchase a 7/32 wood drill bit that is capable of drilling 2.5 inches (honestly, be capable of drilling 3). The other thing that I cannot stress further is that you need to have a ratchet wrench on hand. When I first went to install this, I was thinking I was going to be using multiple wood screws that went directly into the studs... No... After you drill the 7/32 x 2.5 pilot holes, you then must insert/screw massive bolts into said holes; Some choice words were DEFINITELY used when using just a standard adjustable spanner wrench, I would have saved a lot of time, energy, and frustration had I used the tools that the instructions recommend. Overall, I couldnt be happier with this purchase, it is so sturdy that I am certain that it will be surviving not just the nearest rapture, but every rapture after that. If youre looking for a a TV mount that is sturdy, and gets the job done, look no further.
