I will say I still prefer the others that bolt into 2 studs... in my mind I am still a little leary of this only being mounted to 1 center stud. However, in my house above my fireplace reaching 2 studs would mean the TV was way off center. I found this one that mounts to just the 1 center stud, and I have to admit, I am very impressed with how sturdy it seems. I have an older 52 that is much heavier than the average TV of the same size today, and so far it has worked great. Again if your only option due to placement is to only mount it to 1 stud - this is definitely the one I would recommend

Mounted my 55 inch TCL 5 Series. Roughly 40 pounds. I was worried about a single stud mount holding my TV but this thing is super sturdy. Once I got it mounted my worries went away. Simple to install and has everything you need in the box including a template and levels. (YOU WILL NEED A SOCKET SET) TCL TVs have spacers installed on the top row for whatever reason. I removed these and just used the two longer spacers included with the mounting dream. Worked like a charm.

My wife happens to be the one that mainly reads the instructions and puts things together....while Im just the guy that tightens the screws (etc). My wife was so impressed with everything about this product. The way it was packaged and labeled and just how well everything was thought out. The template which sticks to the wall along with the tiny level that sticks to the template....all brilliant! This is a sturdy well-built product. My only bit of advice to those who buy this would be to make sure you choose the angle you want the TV to stay at and tighten the two little bolts BEFORE you put the TV on it. I didnt catch this and after we put the TV on it started to tilt forward slowly...thats when we discovered the ability to tighten that. All in all, would totally buy this again...and a great price!

We have a centered stud above our fireplace, so hanging a tv seemed like a challenge when I was searching. We thought we were going to have to install a brace to go between multiple studs and hang a traditional mounting bracket from the braces. Then I found this. It is perfectly designed to work on a center stud and was super easy to install and mount the tv. Love it!

This mount is such a good deal! It comes with many different bolts sizes for mounting different TVs and also spacers in case some part of the bracket covers your HDMI or other ports. I did not have a problem though as the brackets spanned all my connections perfectly. I have a 32 Samsung and its like it was made for my tv. The only thing is this is heavy. Installing by yourself might be hard. Because it is heavy and sturdy, I would be comfortable mounting a massive TV and have peace of mind that it was secure.

Bought 2. One new lightweight 50 and one older 60lb plasma tv. Worked great on both. Loved the screw adjustments for levelling horizontally! Definitely recommend!

This is a good product, sturdy and well-made. It was relatively easy to put up, although having two people is recommended. It was nice to have a selection of mounting hardware for almost all eventualities. My only complaint is that you have to manually adjust the tilt angle by loosening a screw (rather than just pushing down or lifting up). When a product says that it has articulating tilt, I wouldnt think that you have to loosen and tighten a screw each time you want to make a small adjustment. I might not have purchased this product if Id realized that, and perhaps its a failure of my reading, but I think the product should make that clearer.
