> 3 dayBought this a while ago and finally got around to installing it. Instructions are adequate for my tv. I followed the wood stud installation option. I also used a laser level and painters tape to help mark the install spot and hole locations. Drilled the pilot holes, assembled the mounting hardware, and mounted this to the wall. The wall bolts were quite difficult to screw in, but I guess it means this thing isn’t coming off the wall under any load condition. East to adjust the tilt to level the tv. I’d purchase this again.

> 3 dayThe mounting bracket to the wall assumes you are centering the unit between two 2x4s. Wish the extensions were 7 longer.

> 3 dayThis is my first wall mount and I wanted a mount to support my 65 50 lb TV without issue. This mount is perfect for my needs. I also needed one to fit my studs which are ~17 inches apart, therefore this 24 mount works great! My mount is NOT centered on the wall, it is actually about 4 inches off to the left. I had to use the extension to help with the offset and work with my studs which about 17 inches apart. I shifted the TV support bracket to the right to offset the fact that my studs are not centered on my wall. I was able to install and mount the TV by myself since the TV is only 50 lbs. I cannot comment on the time to install because I distracted most of the time during the install. The hardest part was measuring everything to make sure the mount was high enough and centered enough on the studs. The assembly of the mount and TV bracket was easy and straight forward. The TV brackets fit perfectly for my cheap TV 600x400 VESA pattern, which is the max this mount can support. There was no adjustment on the TV brackets, and I guess it would be nice to have, but more than likely would affect smaller patterns. Since it fit my TV perfectly, I am happy with it. It is sturdy and strong for my 50 lb TV. I have no worries about it holding my TV or moving it around on the arms, especially since its screwed in the studs. The tilt works good too. Just force the tilt and it works great. I only tilted it once though. I am not worried about using the screwed on extensions. They were a firm fit and there is no flex on the wall or the TV from moving the TV around. Shipping was really fast and arrived all in one piece with no damage. The packing was good and all the items being labeled correctly in their bags and in the instructions helped, esp since I was distracted during my install.

Greater than one weekOverall pretty good mount, very secure and solid, even when extended. It came with lots of hardware for mounting the TV, reasonably good instructions and a template (which I didnt need/use). Unlike some other mounts, I appreciate that the rails (the part that bolts onto the TV) is vertically centered. This made it easier to calculate the center height of the TV and get it in the right spot on the wall. So why didnt I give it 5 stars? These are nit-pick items, but here we go: 1. It comes with some bolt-on extensions to make it meet the rated 24 span between studs. I know this makes it ship smaller, but I would far prefer it be made of fewer, continuous pieces. That would give a shorter assembly time and make a more rigid mount. For most folks this is no big deal, but its a pet peeve to see shortcuts like this. 2. The rails (which attach to the TV) are JUST big enough to mount my TVs VESA pattern. It would have been better if the rails extended maybe an extra 50mm vertically, to allow me to shift the TV up and down if I messed up on the mounting position of the wall-mount portion. In my case, I had a wall outlet in the way and had to mount the unit 2 lower than I wanted. If the rails were longer, I could have just shifted them to a different set of holes. 3. The rails secure with a flip-around clamp thats screwed in place. Thats certainly more secure than many other rail systems and probably great for public spaces where people might pull on the TV. I can pull the whole unit away from the wall to tighten these clamp screws, but I wish it had a spring loaded latch instead. Overall, would have given 4.5 stars if that were an option. Its a great mount, built heavy and strong and does what it advertises. But I just wish there was a tiny bit more refinement.
