> 24 hourIt comes as a folded bit of cardboard with a voucher code that then directs you to their site, and with more than a little fumbling, you get an email with the usual P3 and 30 digit installation number. It takes some time to download the 1+ gig program, and when its installed, it presents itself as a very dumbed down version of previous Vegas programs. OK for someone starting out who is ok with basic editing functions, akin to the old Windows Movie Maker 2.6 (no longer available). It comes with a completely redone work environment, with non-removable tab for other functions you have to buy and download to obtain. The advance one frame function is gone, so that takes away tight trimming, and if you still want to import a series of jpgs for animation and control how long they are in the editing timeline, that ability is also gone. Overall, it may be ok for a novice or someone wanting to dress up a TicTok video, but a far cry from the Vegas series of programs I have used since #9, and certainly not a product for assembling an animation project. For all the headache of downloads, the screenspace wasted with at-a-cost features, etc., its rates a meh. Try for a Vegas 15 or 16 (now unsupported, apparently, but still fine as stand-alones) instead of this.
