Moxi - Lolly - Womens Roller Skate

> 3 dayI have yet to use these, but my review is about the fact that these really do seem to be actual lolly’s. Moxi is sold out, along with every other store basically, so I took the expensive chance of purchasing these despite some people saying they’re fake. These are my first pair of adult skates, I wear a size 8 adidas shoe so I went down and got a size 7 Lolly. I will admit that they do not seem to be the 2020 model as advertised, I attached a photo of moxi’s 2021 model for reference to the actual skates I received . It came with the signature moxi box, a skate tool, and the signature keychain. So far, just by handling them the quality feels amazing. I love the suede. I’m excited to use them, and if I have any complaints I will update this review. If nothing is changed, see that as a good sign

> 3 dayI love how welcoming and understanding the Moxi team is. When my skates arrived I was in absolute bliss. Trying them on was like slipping on second skin and craftsmanship is impeccable. If you want to feel and look badass in some wheels go with Moxi, and ride with the confidence that you have one of the freshest skate on the skate floor.

> 3 dayThese skates are good, well made and comfortable even tho my left foot always go asleep after 30 mins and i have to lose the laces a little. I would say that they are too pricey, that is for sure. A lot of other brands have similar products for way less money but i really wanted moxis for the designs and because i absolutely love Michelle. ONE PROBLEM, which is Amazon faults. My skates had nothing when i got them and that is how i knew i was getting a return. It did not have laces, tools, keychain or anything in the box at all. Just the skates . I wonder what kind of person has the nerves to do such thing. Amazon need to inspect their return but they do not and thats why you see reviews like mine or people complaining about getting different wheels on their skates because previous people ordered the pair to switch their wheels on their skates so they dont have to pay for it.... Sad

Greater than one weekI did a lot of research and these really fit the bill. Beautifully died suede boot and the comfort for me right out of the box was great. I normally wear a 10-10.5 and the size 9 was perfect for me.

> 3 dayI like them, but am returning them. Why I like them: 1. Genuine suede 2. Flattering and well fitting shaped boot (order your dress shoe size - I wear a 9 Nike shoe, I wear an 8 Riedell boot and I wear a 8 to 8.5 dress shoe. Skates should fit snug but not too tight where they would hurt your toes. 3.Wheels are OUTDOOR wheels - super soft, meant for asphalt/pavement. You would need harder wheels and/or additional bearings (sold separately) for the best experience rink skating. 4. Super cute - if cute is a factor for you... 5. Wheels seem to be good quality 6. Riedell MAKES GREAT BOOTS this is a great skate/brand for regular skaters or those who want to get back on skates. Why Im returning them: 1. Box says they have ABEC5 bearings (not ABEC7 as listed - listing is wrong, Riedell only sells them with ABEC5 however...) see picture of box label. 2. Came with PINK Moxi wheels - Riedell only sells these with the matching Seafoam wheels as pictured (I checked with a dealer) so someone switched them at some point and the nuts used are cheap ones you cant re-screw - I had the same problem with another pair of pre-assembled skates. But the pink/teal combo is a cute combination, Im just not a fan of pink and because Im not willing to take the wheels off, Im not going to be able to check to make sure they have the right bearings (ABEC5) to make sure those werent switched as well (some online dealers have been known to do this because the average person doesnt know their skates that well - just check the parts when you get them). 4. NOT a deciding factor, but that little Moxi M on the side of only ONE of the skates is CUT OUT - it is not black embroidered, or lined, it is a HOLE in the boot. Im a regular skater, Ive gotten much nicer, professional quality skates at around the same price or a little more - so Im a little disappointed in Riedell with these skates... I would have liked to have seen a better plate and a little more structure/support for the listed price. The wheels not being the right color is what really bothers me, so I think if I decide I really want them I will order locally...

> 3 dayVery good quality and worth the money I was missing a washer and nut on just one of the screws so definitely check them before riding

> 3 dayI am a size 6.5 in woman’s shoes and I ordered a size 5. They fit great but I need to break them in. Got these and realized in pictures most people only show the boot with the Moxi M cutout (the right boot). They are real Moxi roller skates from what I can tell, and no blemishes or defects. Honestly, they’re perfect! Just a note: the plates do not have to align with the center front seam on the boot when correctly mounted. Moxi skates put up a YouTube vid explaining why some skates look like the are mounted off center, but are actually centered.

Greater than one weekI looked at SO MANY roller skates before deciding to splurge on these and I am so happy with my purchase. I considered Impala Quad, BTFL, Moxi Beach Bunny, Sure Grip Boardwalk Outdoor and Moonlight Rollers. I narrowed it down to these and the Midnight Rollers but they are not available on Amazon and I am impatient. Haha. I am confident that these are genuine Moxi Lolly roller skates. I did make sure that when I purchased, that the seller was Riedell due to some reviews questioning the authenticity. True Lollys only have the cutout M on one side of one skate. Mine came in an amazon box with the Moxi box inside. I did receive the keychain and the skate tool along with an instruction booklet (not shown). The skates were packaged nicely and had zero damage. I was so nervous about the Pineapple color because I was afraid they would be too bright but they are absolutely gorgeous. They are more of a deep yellow than the bright yellow shown in the picture. They were pretty comfortable right out of the box. I adjusted the wheels and trucks as per the instruction video on the Moxi website and had a blast on roller skates for the first time in about 15 years. I wear a 7.5M in regular shoes and my feet measure 9.5”. I got the size 6 and they are perfect. They are just a bit tight across the wide part of my foot but that area is suede so I am sure it will stretch a bit. These are a softer boot and do not have a ton of ankle support but I have strong ankles and am more interested in rhythmic skating than skate park type although I have seen many use these for skate parks as well. I also grew up roller skating and ice skating so am not a total beginner. I am super happy with my purchase.

Greater than one weekI ordered these Beach Bunnies in periwinkle and LOVED them. They are super snug when you try them on, but follow the sizing on the Moxi site, dont listen to some of the reviews saying they bought their normal size. I am guessing those people did not put them on all the way, lace them up and ride around in their house. I am mostly an 8.5 and I got size 7. I thought my feet were being crushed when I put them on, but they loosened up in the front to back direction with a very thin sock (you should be able to be able to wiggle your toes when you bend your knees in true skate position.). However, after three days of this, they were just too tight around the ball of my foot and I know they wont stretch because they are vinyl :(. Sadly, I looked for other options. I then went with the Sure-Grip Boardwalk, size 7 in purple. They cost more, but these are suede so will stretch. I got them and they felt too big, but I got out a thick sock and tried to love them (I bought them through RollerSkateNation and they wanted $20 restocking fee AND to pay the shipping back!), I really tried to love them...but they just did not glide like the Beach Bunnys and the suede was so stiff and rubbed my ankles to death. They also hurt the back of my legs. So, too torture myself, I got a third option (but through Amazon this time, so I can send them back. Lesson learned). Next option, the super expensive Moxi Lollys. I got them in purple, size 7. First, they are beautiful and not counterfeit, like some say on these site. Someone said that they were supposed to have ABEC 7 bearings and these came with 5 so they were counterfeit. I looked them up on the Moxi site and they say ABEC 5, so I am not sure where they got that idea. Anyway, these are genuine, same box, same skates and come with the skate tool. So, how were they? Oh my god! They are amazing and fit perfectly! I immediately wore them out knowing that I am going to have to buy them and pay that stupid fee to send the Boardwalks back because, well, they really are amazing. The only thing I would mention is that the could have a little more cushioned insole, but I can add one. So, all and all, if you foot was a little more narrow, I would have been completely and utterly happy with the Beach Bunnies, but, since they werent going to stretch, I had to opt for the more expensive Lolly, but I wont regret it!!!!
