The longest USB extension cable I could locate. Worked great to extend my Wyze security camera.

Having to recharge the battery every couple of months was getting frustrating, so this was a fantastic alternative. Even though my camera told me that the chargers were not authentic Arlo chargers, they worked great! Only thing better would have been if they included the plug with them and not just the chord. Thankfully had a couple extra plugs I could use with the chord. Will look for chord that come with the plug in the future.

This is an initial impression review, Like I have done with so many other reviews, I will update this as time goes on, either good or bad. So I added Wyze Cam 3s to my home security / automation mix, but these things need power. And I didnt want to route over to the very few outlets on the outside of the house, and I DO have outlets in my attic for worklights and such, so heres what I did. #1. Locate where I wanted to mount the camera, per Wyze instructions around 10 off the ground, which meant I used outdoor security camera mounts, but that is a different discussion, for now lets continue. Mount the cam, determine where the cable will penetrate the siding. And drill a hole. This is a 10mm fitting, so either a 10mm, or 13/32 hole if you have that fine grained a fractional drill bit set. Route the Micro USB end to the camera from INSIDE so you arent passing the big USB end through, attach the cable the the camera, and attach the cable up the wall / siding, or down. or sideways or whatever. My drop was less than 2 so it just hung there. Go inside and route the cable to where you are getting your power. In my case I attached a grounded triple tap to one of the outlets in the attic, and used the what look like coax clips to attach the cable to rafters to route it. Plug in power, and test. If all works well fill the hole in the siding with paintable caulk, allow to dry, and paint with some touchup paint. The cable itself is quite long, allowing me to run one to each side of the house, and meet in the middle where my outlet is which is awesome. I have plenty of extra cable left over but no problem. The cord itself is well made, and the injected ends seem fine. At this distance you REALLY shouldnt be sending USB signal over this, but power should be more than fine. The only reason I would think that this cable would have problem carrying power is if like so many do, the micro USB end of the cable the tiny wires inside get weakened from working back and forth. If you use it for its intended purpose of powering a camera via USB and you secure the cable to minimze movement, then you shouldnt ever experience any power delivery problems with this. Mind you shouldnt. There are reviewers that say they do. Not sure about the situation there. Some devices take a fairly high for Micro USB amperage for fast charging, maybe that is the issue, I will update if I experience stability problems. As long as the FEMALE ends of the connectors you are plugging into have sealed ends like the Wyze Cam 3 does, this should be a weatherproof cable, HOWEVER I would think it would be a good idea to paint the cable itself if you can to provide additional protection from UV.

These are really long USB cords. Are they weather proof? I guess. I wouldnt use them underwater or put the ends in a wet environment but the cord is a 43ft piece of extruded plastic so..... They worked great for running my cameras. Way cheaper than running romex through the attic.

Perfect for a blink or wyze cam which requires continuous or intermittent power source to work. the cable is very light and absolutely there is no power loss while electricity travel through 13 Meter of USB cable. the package also comes with mounting brackets so wire can be attached to a wall. This is a good product and I highly recommend friends or family give it a try.
