I actually take some off the strands off the main group and give to him to tear up - the whole thing at once would take up way too much room in his cage. The idea is great and the wood choice is also, its just right and gives him something to work on. This is his third one! Thanks for a good product.

My cockatoo really enjoys it. It entertains him for a while each day except for when I have a zoom meeting and he wants to screech at the people. Ir is well made because he hasnt been able to tear it apart yet.

My African grey loves this. He tears it up but takes him awhile and it keeps him entertained.

Good chew toy

I did not know this was made in China. I do not want Chinese goods for our parrots as I dont trust that the materials are safe. In fact, it looks like the center log was stained. Toxic?

Our bird tore it up in less than a day! Had to go back to one she has had for 6 years!

Otis, my African Grey is making parrot sculpture with this toy. I would like to replace it for him for the holidays since he enjoys destroying it so much. It is not too thick for his beak but thick enough to challenge his shredding ability.

I dont know if dyes in China are safe for birds. I soaked it 3x in hot water. Bird only touched plastic balls. I threw it out.

African Grey and Umbrella Cockatoos favorite large toy. It takes the AG months to destroy it because there are so many colorful blocks and plastic balls. It only lasts about 2 weeks for the UC but she really loves turning the blocks into tiny splinters. Gave 4 stars because the hanging chain has 2 hangers and 1 is split ring. I replaced split ring with a screw together hanger to make the toy safe. When 1st adding it to shopping list it was $13.88, an exceptional deal compared with other listing for identical toy. Less than a week later price increased to $14.88 so I bought 4. A week later price is now $15.88. Still a good value so buy now before the price goes up again!
