Mrs. Meyers Hand Soap, Made with Essential Oils, Biodegradable Formula, Basil, 12.5 fl. oz - Pack of 6

Im a grubby blue collar worker so my hands are an eternally greasy mess. Not only does this soap do an excellent job of removing filth the basil scent is an absolute delight. I have very little tolerance for most perfumes and scents, most of our cleaning products and detergents are either dye and perfume free or very nearly. This basil scent is very, very complex and strikes a nearly perfect olfactory balance of subtle herbal, floral and astringent (in a nice way) scents. All those reviewers incapable of appreciating this masterstroke are olfactorily impaired and have my sympathies.

This is a good soap and smells great, but I am really disappointed that it has harmful toxins in it. I guess it is environmentally friendly, but people seem to care more about whether its safe for the environment than being safe for their own bodies. Check for yourself on [...]

Great product

Im not sure I would call the fragrance, basil, but it has a wonderful herbal smell that I love. While it isnt overwhelming, the fragrance stays on your hands for a while after you dry them. Ill probably try the dish soap in the basil next. Ive been buying Mrs. Meyers products for several years and love to buy them by the case on Amazon because the price is more reasonable and I dont have to worry about running out for a while. Ive also used the Geranium, Lemon Verbena and Lavender and love them all. You cant go wrong with Mrs. Meyers products and will probably want to try more of their cleaning products after you experience this one.

I used to buy very fantastic smelling hand soap for my bathroom. This smell does not quality. It is good soap, but just nothing special. Since I bought 6 of them, I will give them away as gifts. It is just to average smelling for me.

We love this soap. My husband is a mechanic and it smells clean and doesnt smell cutesy. We buy this in bulk. Another good scent is their Iowa Pine. But its only a seasonal one.

I wash my hands a lot and did before the COVID 19 hit. This is the only hand soap Ive ever used that doesnt dry out my skin. I dont have to put on lotion after washing my hands as they just arent dry. I use a lot of Mrs. Meyers products and am pleased with all of them.

I bought a six-pack as gifts for friends and family and kept a bottle for ourselves. What a nice clean scent, which everybody really enjoys. Is it basil, exactly? Not sure, I grow basil and well, its not exactly like fresh basil, but no matter, its unique and quite nice, and leaves a pleasant scent on the hands. Oh, and it also cleans the hands nicely and comes in a nice-looking pump container. I actually dumped the contents into out Simple Human auto dispenser and the contents fit exactly into the reservoir and flows well from the dispenser. Id like to try the others, although it would be nice if there was a sampler; or variety pack.

This soaps fragrance is very strong. I have it in my kitchen and, if I use it before I eat, it can overpower my meals. My wife and kids musnt like it either as it sits beside the Soft Soap and goes unused. Ive tried and enjoyed some of the other cleaners in this line, but the hand soap is too fragrant.

This 6 pack is a good value, especially for subscribe and save. Pity it smells nothing like basil. Its too sweet and smells off to me. Now I will need to find people to give the remaining 5 away too, as the scent is too strong and not basil like for me.
