MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 2060 Super 8GB GDRR6 256-Bit HDMI/DP G-Sync Turing Architecture Overclocked Graphics Card (RTX 2060 Super VENTUS GP OC)

Ive had the card for a few months now, but havent been able to use it due to not having the right cables for it. Been using it the last few days, and so far Im impressed. Theres a notable difference in my performance, especially with more high-end games. Its been a long time since I played anything on a higher graphic setting than low, and everything Ive tested still runs smooth as butter.

Ive been seeing some weird complaints about coil whine on here, and want to say this. If your graphics card makes noise to a level that is annoying or concerning, its YOUR build. This card has been an absolute blessing for the price, for me. Its nice and quiet, and performs wonderfully in all games at 1440p with ultra settings.

3D mark value is 8590 with an i7 9700K Cpu and 32 GB RAM.

Was nervous when it came in simply because it was a used item at such a high price. When I got around to building my PC I was excited because it was seemingly working until it booted up with purple/green pixelated lines constantly over the screen. I tried updating the driver to fix it as you can see in the photo but to no avail. Eventually I learned that it was a sign that the GPU was damaged beyond repair. Games played on it had an incredibly low fps, even with games that should be a breeze for this CPU like slime rancher.

So far so good. I finally joined the 144hz gaming world with a GPU that works. (believe me when I tell you this, 60hz to 144hz monitors with good refresh and response times is a game changer. ) I play CODMW/Rust/DayZ/PUBG/Ring for fps references. I average about 150-175 fps in MW. I dont have the setting maxed because I play to compete not for looks.

Easy to install and configure with windows 10. My only concern is the card runs hot.

This card will frequently fail without reaching maximum power or clock frequency. When you look through your applications debugging logs you will notice a DXGI Error: Device Removed or DXGI Error: Device Hung errors.

Upgraded my sons PC from a 1650 to the 2060super. He gets similar performance as my 2070 and at a huge price difference. Only issue was at first, games would crash but did some settings adjustments and appears to be working great.
