Muc Off Dry Lube (50-ml)

Smell is amazing. Longevity is about 20 miles. Good product. A bit expensive.

A little more oily then the C3 lube which can make it a little more messy but still great lube.

Works well, but only for a short time. In dry conditions, I have to reapply every 20-ish miles.

Flows nicely into the chain links of my bikes, but dries nicely so it wont gather dust or dirt.

By far my favorite chain lube. It is a bit more involved, because you have to degrease the chain before the first application. However, after that it is wonderful. I quickly wipe the chain after a ride, and re-apply every 3-4 rides under normal use on a road bike, 2-3 for a mountain bike. I also use this on my cyclocross bike. In dry and sandy races, this really cant be beat. It keeps the chain clean and free of grit in a way that oil/wax based lubricants just cant. Also, because the lubricant dries and you wipe away the excess, you finish with a shinny clean chain, not an ugly greasy mess. This helps keep the drive train running and shifting quietly and smoothly. This lube does a good job for a single rain-day ride. However, it doesnt rain that much where I live, so if you live in an environment with day-after-day rain, I cant say how well this will work for you.

I’ve been using this lube for over 2 years. I am in SoCal and it is perfect for where I ride.

I love the smell first off which I think is kind of funny because Muc Off says Do NOT inhale then makes it smell great. It doesnt harden like other dry lubes which causes it to grab sand and dirt on really dusty trails, and we have plenty of those being in Utah. It does great in any condition except the driest.

This is my new favorite chain lube! Spout is perfect to get one drop on every link. Makes things spin smoothly and lasts for a good while after applying. It even smells nice!

I previously used Finish Line dry lube and didnt have any issues with the lube itself, but the bottle design was awful. I couldnt control the amount the came out of the bottle once I tipped it to apply the lube to the chain, so I figured Id give Muc Off a try since its a reputable brand. The lube works well, and the bottle design is great; no more wasting lube! If youre like me and would rather run dry lube but apply it more often than wet lube, go with Muc Off.

Can’t go wrong with Muc-Off products. Easy to apply and lasts several rides depending on the conditions. Smells good too!
