Multi Clamshell Ruler

Excellent 1/4 thickness. However, for quilting on a home machine, its a bit cumbersome to do a repeat clamshell pattern from edge to edge. I will use for small sections where I need a half circle so it was not a complete waste. Hopefully, I will get a longarm someday and be really able to see the benefits of this rulers. Its a good clamshell ruler with 4 sizes, but more suited for a long arm.

I have seven Handi Quilter rulers made in the United States, purchased about two years ago. These are the safer, thicker rulers which can be used with machines that allow 1/4” clearance. Marks are permanently etched onto the bottom of the ruler, so no disappearing, no parallax when used right side up. This is a really nice design. Smooth, so you will want to apply some sort of anti-slip. I was disappointed the Multi Clam Shells ruler, which arrived today, was not made in the United States. That is the minus one star. The ruler arrived quickly, in excellent shape despite getting squished into my mailbox. The mailing pouch did its job well.

This was for a gift for someone. It arrived by the promise date. My family member said it was exactly what she wanted. She is using it on a standard/personal sewing machine and is able to create many many many designs. It is beyond me, so I am taking her word. I was happy it turned out to be an awesome gift for a quilter doing Ruler Work. (Since this was a gift, I was plesed I received this as promised in new packaging, perfect condition )

Great ruler, does what is was designed for.

This was easy to use on a home sewing machine for ruler quilting. It was great for exactly the clam shells that I wanted it for.

Havent used it yet, but looks like itll be good.
