Munchkin® Ocean™ Squirts Baby and Toddler Bath Toy, 8 pack

> 3 dayAlthough these are really cute bath toys, they get really gross quickly. Water gets stuck inside them after a bath and then gets moldy and gross and is squirted out into the next bath. To be fair, this is a problem with all squirtie toys, not just these. But it seemed to happen really quickly with these. I guess if you were willing to squirt water out of each one and make sure it was dry after each back this might not be a problem...but who has time for that? So, if you want squirtie toys, I guess these are cute. Just beware the moldy water.

> 3 dayThese are cute little squirt toys. The white swan is permanently pink after bathing in the same water as a spaghetti sauce covered toddler, so these are probably made of somewhat porous plastic. Other than that I have noticed no issues with mold or keeping them clean.

> 3 dayIf you buy these then use a hot glue gun to plug up the holes. Otherwise youll find that they mold easily because you cant get all the water out.

> 3 dayThe style I chose is not the same as the one I chose, and it is easy to have black marks that cannot be cleaned off.

Greater than one weekThese are super cute, but thats about it. I bought them to use in the pool with my baby. I docked stars for 2 reasons. Fist, after having them open for 3 hours of gentle play, before putting them in water at all, i noticed the sheep had paint missing, meaning my 8 month old chewed it off. The second star is gone because my son was squeezing the air out of the toys in my babys face and then finally squeezed air in my face and it stank horribly! Not the smell of plastic, but more of stale rotten grossness or like when someone is really sick smell. This was over an hour ago and i sill taste and smell it. I was grossed out that my kids were breathing this. I immediately doomed these to be outside only toys, and they will not be played with unless chlorinated water is present, whereas i wil promptly toss them as soon as swim season is over, instead of only using 2 this summer and using the rest as dry play toys until next year as previously planned. I feel like mold-or something worse, is already present and they havent even touched water or been open of 24 hours. I would not purchase these if you were wanting a bath toy as kids have a tendancy to squirt water in their mouths. The squirt hole is very small and i doubt water left in them will dry out at all, thus leading to mold. For the sole purpose of using them for 2 months in chloranated water, i think they will suffice for my needs, but they will prematurely end up in the trash. Im goiing to go boil them in a pot of water and hopefilly that will at least disinfect them. I wouldnt buy for a baby with no immune system and is vunerable to everything. Made in China!
