> 3 dayMy 4 and 6 year old great granddaughters find these thicker pencils easier to print with. Both girls use very light pressure when printing and the lead on these pencils leave darker and easier to read results. The erasers are great. They clean completely and do not smear. Best pencils for achieving desired results Ive seen in many years.

Greater than one weekI prefer using these type of pencils, they can take more abuse and mark better than a regular #2 , also the seem to last longer.

15-11-2024These are not the same pencils of years ago. The wood is apparently cheap scrap wood and the lead leaves tiny chips when writing. Also, the sharpener is completely worthless. It just bites into the wood and gouges out chunks instead of sharpening. The plastic is cheap and bends easily. This is not to mention the mess it makes with the few shavings it does manage to take off the pencils. I resorted to sharpening with a pocket knife. Since the lead is not very good quality, I now just use the pencils for making marks on things that dont really matter. I should just throw them away to keep from cluttering up my junk drawer. I would not recommend these pencils at all. Spent a little more money and get some better quality ones.
