It definitely reduces the noise, but it 100% doesn’t cancel it out or is “sound proofed” like advertised. Will keep for certain events but I don’t think this will work for other louder events.

Weve used this on my infant from 8-9 months old for a couple fireworks and a concert at a local park. They have been great for him! They are NOT noise cancelling headphones, but they dampen the sound tremendously! I put them on first to check them out and it was almost to whisper quality when talking really loudly. So these work for if he wants to sleep (although this has yet to happen lol) but he can still enjoy things without damaging his hearing. He was even dancing in his wagon when the band was playing, so he could hear a little. And the only fireworks that bothered him for the really loud flash bang ones, but that could have been the strobe light effect as well, but still Ill take it! They take a hot second to get them figured out as far as how to have everything placed to that they fit and fit comfortably, but once you figure it out, its super easy! He didnt really fuss with them, and only wanted to take them off after 20 minutes into the fireworks, but it was also close to bed time so theres that too. I bought them for the 4th of July and well be using them for any overly loud outings from now on!

Bought these for my 6 month olds first 4th of July and he didnt even flinch at any of the fireworks. Usually hes very jumpy and doesnt like loud noises but these worked great and he enjoyed watching all the fireworks. Ive even put them on him and used a pneumatic nail gun 10 feet away without a problem. Highly recommended

Only problem with them is that my daughter didnt like wearing them, but functionally they work great! I guess its kid specific for the comfort factor though

So far so good, I have only put them momentarily twice on my daughter. She did not seem to mind them, she was fine with them. When I took them off they left a bit of a mark but no big deal. Not sure about the noise canceling, did not try them myself, but as long as she hears a bit less the airplane engine and feels less of the pressure, I am happy. I will update after we travel.

this was purchased for my grandsons first flight. going down to FL he slept and the headphones fit perfect. Coming home he was a bit grouchy so he wanted no part in the headphones on. I feel these were exactly what we needed and the purpose. Not a disappointment.

Avid gun users and my baby sits in the stroller and watches with headphones on and loves it, Have also used while watching a demolition derby. Baby is always happy and content and never makes any indication they are uncomfortable or able to hear the loud noise, love them that I bought a pair for my nephew too !

These would work great if they would stay at one size and not constantly slide causing my ASD kiddo to hate them. He loves the noise cancellation but isnt willing to wear them to to them sliding in and out and becoming too big or two small as they are going on.

Provides great noise cancellation and comforts my toddler when they are having a meltdown.

I’m so glad I bought this. My husband and I love sporting events but unfortunately with a baby it’s a bit difficult to attend. Mainly because it tends to get quite loud. Our 3 month old gets easily startled by loud noises but with these he’s able to take in the sights and even nap while wearing them.
