It is a little large but when you tighten the straps down it seems to fit quite well. The fabric is really durable and definitely more than I expected. We both really love the strawberry pattern :-)

Greater than one weekWe got the light pink one with dark pink strawberries. Adorable, adjustable, sturdy after several months, cleans easily, smooth zippers. My 5 year old takes it to public school Kindergarten. It’s easy for her to get on and off, and it holds a lot. We’ve been really pleased.

Greater than one weekWent to a big box store and spent the same price for a backpack that was super thin and only had two pockets. Two days into the school year when the zipper and carry handle broke. Bought this pack instead, and its night and day difference. It feels like a $75 backpack, the material is easy to clean, the laptop pocket is perfect for the 13 school Chromebook, and the design is unique and cute. I highly recommend this brand of bag for your elementary or middle school child.
