Not too heavy. Mouth piece is very comfouand the water puts sadly into your moth. Easy to carry with strap that holds top to bottle. Perfect for me. Had larger size but too heavy to carry around and ultimately the strap broke. Never satisfied with any other bottle I tried! Love it. Nice colors too

Perfect for if you don’t like carrying around huge heavy water bottles. Easy to throw in my purse and refill through out the day. Lightweight and great color

It is exactly as described can’t complain. Just be weary how little 16 oz is of water when you’re thirsty

After years of forking out cash for other upscale brand water bottles for my family of 4, I angrily cleaned out my water bottle cupboard (yes, I have a water bottle cupboard) of broken, missing parts, leaky water bottles that averaged $20 each or more. I glanced over at the counter and there was my husbands trusty Nalgene (looks exactly like this except grey...not much has changed) from 2007. The volume measure on the side is a little worn off but still legible, and the bottle and cap are still trucking along, not leaking, doing their job, after a decade. I realized, those water bottles have been in the dishwasher multiple times per week for 10 years. Hes dropped them many times on various surfaces. He literally dropped one off a cliff while hiking and it survived. Theyve been left in super hot and super cold cars, frozen solid full of water when we found them. The cap is permanently attached, and there are no other parts to lose, so we still have them both intact. They were the only survivors of my purge. His 2 bottles are a plain grey, but now they come in other bright colors so I bought 2 for each family member in their own color choice. This teal with orange was perfect for my daughter. My son got red, and I have purple. What a relief! They are all the same size and shape, easily identifiable, and virtually indestructible. All parts are dishwasher friendly, the kids cant lose straws, caps, plugs, etc. The 16oz size is big enough for me to take on a hike but small enough for my grade school aged kids to handle. There are no fancy drinking mechanisms to learn, clean or break - its just a straight twist off cap that fits nice and tight so you dont worry about throwing it in the bottom of a backpack. And the price - great deal compared to the other bottles Ive been buying! Go for it...you wont be disappointed.

I bought this for my 3 year old. His older brother was about that age when he got his. The narrow mouth is great because 3-year-olds drink like monsters. It’s small size is still manageable for him to lug around... Lord knows I’m done holding on to his stuff. Also, the small size is good so when he takes it to bed, his minuscule bladder won’t erupt causing a flood for me or his mother to deal with. Last, the cap will home those fine motor skills of his tiny, tiny fingers. More so than his nose picking, maybe.

Ive owned Nalgene products for about two decades now, & my original litre-sized/32 oz. is still as good as the day I purchased it. The scratches & wear marks merely add to its character. As their promo description says, theyre a relatively simple construction that works extremely well. This smaller 16 oz. is a first for me, & itll be most convenient to use around the house or to take along on morning walks. The translucent colour is super. Nalgene makes excellent, resilient sleeves for their 32 oz. bottles. Though I was unable to find a Nalgene sleeve for this size bottle, there are some from other sources that are quite nice. Theres even a smart woodland camo version thatll compliment the olive drab Nalgene I have. I ordered another as a Christmas present, & I confess it was a last-minute transaction. Even amid the holiday rush, the shipper ensured my order was safely packaged & arrived in record time. A sincere thank you for that, & another to Amazon for having such dependable businesses from which we can choose!

The new sustain aspect is a big sell. My husband works for the company Nalgene gets there plastic from Eastman Chemical. The way they are molecularly recycling plastic that will never have a end use is pretty ingenious. Check out Eastman Chemical molecular recycling.

The 16oz size is just right for my needs, not too big or small. The loop on the cap makes a nice carrying strap. I like the smaller neck for drinking out of the bottle, but it’s not as easy to clean as my larger wide mouth Nalgene 32oz. I don’t like most of the color schemes offered and wanted a clear bottle but settled for the cerulean blue one. Another thing I don’t like is the diameter - it doesn’t fit into standard vehicle cup holders. I can wedge it into the upper end on mine, but it’s not secure.

I have had this brand of water bottle for many years (the same bottle the whole time actually) and it was time for an upgrade. I am happy with the product but I did notice it’s a lot thinner than my other one. Maybe it’s because this one is a sustainable materials version and my older one is not but this one definitely doesn’t feel as sturdy. I’m sure it’ll be fine for the use I need it for (bringing it to college classes) but overall the color is cute and I am satisfied.

I love that the lid seals tightly. I can carry it inside my day pack without worrying about leaking. It’s easy to clean between uses. Also, the finger loop makes it easy to carry.
